What's new

how to know that we have hidden capability in us?

But his comments were personally directed against me.
as per the order of comments, you started it! Now kindly stop denying it is there for every mod to see!

I know, I commented first on his post but that doesn't necessarily makes me an aggressor. I didn't personally call him retarded, pee brain etc. And to see that you are siding with him on this is just sad.
What is sad is you provoked him and then are in total denial! I am sorry such sorry attitude doesnt run well here!

Well I need a second opinion on this.

@waz @The Eagle @WebMaster was my first comment here personal or specific to certain styles? Now I request, the rest of deleted comments to be un-deleted and the whole thing should be taken into context. Maybe I said something in the heat of moment, but I am pretty sure I redact my statements before the other person could reply.

And this was the followup since I was forced into making a thread regarding this topic. I am tagging that thread here just for the context. Now I don't want to argue with a mod, this I stated earlier. But I am standing my ground here, please un-delete the whole thread and see it all as a whole. Mods are supposed to be unbiased. But this is the second time(1st time it was with an argument with an Indian if I remember right) either my comment is removed or I am the one who has been told that it's my mistake by the same mod. I don't care about warnings, restrictions but I do have self-respect. My first comment is still there unedited, and it was strictly related to particular styles, yet I am being told again and again that it was something personal. What provoking, I don't even know the other person and just go through all my comments I told him if he wanted me to change my mind regarding styles then lets have a decent logic based discussion, but he kept on being abusive. So if I am out of line here, please delete my account or permaban me.

hi everyone.
i have made this thread to know that how to know or how to find that we have hidden capability in us?

few days ago, i talked someone(don't want to mention his name) , he told me that i have hidden capability and i asked him that waht hidden capability i have so he said that find it by yourself...
so,
i am so confused and amazed too that i have hidden capability(even though i don't know).

Can anyone tell me how to find out what's hidden in me?

somewhat i know about myself is that i am somewhat different from other people(siblings, parents and relatives).
Yes. You have hidden capabilities...you are the super cyborg ninja spiderman! You don't know you have those abilities because when you transform the super cyborg ninja spiderman, your present self does not remember anything! and then you wake up on a roof top wondering how you got there and who are the dead samurai bad guys around you...

@waz just on a lighter note, if a person comes to you and says to you, I follow 'the way of samurai', what is your honest response going to be. Samurai's fkin lost, there method wasn't practical, guns ruled. What's next the guy is gonna tell me that he is a gonna commit Seppuku if he lost a duel because he follows the way of the samurai or sage or whatever.

If he said that and practiced one of the known battle tested styles, I'd take him seriously 100%, and yes I have met many like that. But these folks are the exception not the norm.

However I think we're confusing philosophy with martial ability here. Sure the philosophy had grave weaknesses, the whole idea of defeat and then improving upon themselves was lost. Look at history, how many times did Robert the Bruce try before he beat the English on the battlefield? Muhammad Ali saw defeat and yet came back to be the greatest.

But their is no doubting their martial prowess, one such example is during the Mongol invasions and how they were being picked off from afar with the Mongol bows. The Samurai at night rowed up to their boats and got on board and literally slaughtered Mongol solider after Mongol solider with superior swordsmanship.
