I think the problem is with the Hindhi dubbed cartoon which i am not sure are that "great" and are in fact having a negative impact. On other hand if they are in English then i am coll with that.
You do not want your kids to watch Doraemon fine ban it in your home but we want it for our kids. Doraemon is great
Doremon in Hindi uses exactly the same language, perhaps not like other cartoons but they do use Hindi words some of which i have mentioned in my previous post.............If you are ignorant of something then it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. My nephew who used to watch Doremon Hindi developed the habit of speaking Hindi words. The language's impact on children is way different than it is on adults. Yes PTI should call for ban on all Hindi dubbed programs and not just Doremon.
Hindi*, if channels liks Nat Geo and Discovery are showing the Indian dubbed version, then its a good call i guess. But these channels are already available in English so why not your cable operators show them instead of Hindi dubbed?

The resolution urges Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) to ban cartoon channels in general, and Doraemon in particular. Submitted by PTI lawmaker Malik Taimoor, the resolution also suggests limiting the hours of cartoon channels.
It is not clear from the resolution what PTI's beef with Doraemon is, but it said channels exclusive to cartoons were having a harmful impact on children.
"Cartoon channels on 24 hours are having a negative impact on the educational and physical well-being of children," read the resolution, which is likely to be discussed in the next assembly session.
Without giving any details, the resolution said: "The language that is used in the cartoons is destroying our societal norms."

even if you were quick to jump to keyboard before making the reply you should have read at least the first two lines of the article which clearly stated the cartoons are japanese. you wouldn't have even needed to put "?" mark after thatAnother zombie! Even if you were quick to jump the thought train,why the burn?You ain't even Chinese? I have met Weaboo's and Koreaboo's but never a Chinaboo.
He used the word Sundar, Supna, Pita jee and perhaps a few more which i don't recall. While learning one or two word isn't bad but its the expressions they use in Hindi which dont comport with our society like he developed the habit of saying "Abhey Oye Tu". He also watches one progame in which that lead character monkey talks and develops gadgets, it seems like an Indian attempt to copy Doremon and they use way more disgusting lingo/expressions in that show. I am of the opinion that ban all Hindi dubbed shows unless they follow certain parameters.
