How Pakistan can become an economic force in the region?

Movies that I watch are Hollywood and pushto that language I speak is pushto and English so hopefully you would have got your answer.

Ref the marriages we have different types of ceremonies here but one going around the fire is non existant.

Problem with you is you think everyone is pakistan is the same abd they speak the same and look the same and since you have that mentality.

Fine than continue what you are doing. Let us see where does it bring Pakistan? In a a peaceful and prosperous nation or a failed state.

This is our simpleton point of view. The loans from IMF, world bank and ADB are rarely given without approval from the USA and its allies. And they impose very strict conditions that have to be followed in order to borrow from them. This is a way to affect our decision making and steering of economy in a way it suits those powers. Many many times, the conditions imposed are against the best path we have to follow in order to benefit our economy. World Bank's president is chosen by American president and IMF's head is chosen by Europeans. They do not give a loan to us until they get a nod of approval from US and Europeans. It is not just business, it is both international politics and some business that keeps a country continuing to beg more and more and never be determined to become self-reliant.

Getting a line in the time of crisis may not be a foolish thing to do but continuing to borrow more and more with foreign political influence and foreign imposed conditions, is really harmful for interests of the country.

If it were true business, as you stated, Pakistan could borrow from international commercial banks who are never ready to lend us easily. Cheaper loans come at a cost that might not always be good for us.

But our current ruling govt is made up of a bunch of corrupt individuals who have been looting the country high and dry. DO you think that they would be concerned that they are paying a high interest on the loan.
But as they were elected by the people of Pakistan, maybe it is their fault. Imran Khan is now controlling Pakhtunkwa and lets see what he does with it. If he can manage to even reduce some of the hard ships of the people and improve on the infrastructure, then he would have done a lot and maybe in the next elections he might win more seats. But for now, we dont have any options but to take high interest loans to survive.

Assam (urban), Punjab and Himachal Pradesh are the only three Indian states with similar or lower poverty rates than Pakistan's.

It's good that few want to lend to Pakistan. If more were willing to lend, Pakistan's corrupt politicians would take on even more debt and squander the money.

I really suggest Pakistani and Indian Army should have regular/weekly tea meetings/parties of soldiers deployed on both sides of the border. They will get to know/respect each other and there will be far less chances of skirmishes and exchange of fire.

As soon as the PA stops aiding terrorists trying to infiltrate into India then MAYBE this can happen. Until then the trust deficit will remain and this can't happen.

Just out of curiousity, has secular India gotten ridden off their terrorism problems? Have secular West gotten rid of problems? How has the word secular improved economics of a region? Seriously people need to wake up and recheck that word which every Indian is holding dearly to the heart? It is starting to feel like no one ACTUALLY understands the word and are just hyped up about a NEW word in their dictionary!

5) Focusing on science and technology.
6) realigning itself with its cultural identity

Seriously? How has ANY country gone economical when they want to be secular and then keep their cultural identity which is entwined with Religion?!
