Before 1947 August 15 birth, Indian subcontinent had enclaves and princely states for every major ethnic and religious group.

And such enclaves and states were tolerated by the Muslim kings either through tax money or through marriages.

Hinduism and Bhuddism can be equally nasty when it comes to ethnic cleansing.

In East Punjab, Muslims Punjabis were almost 50+% before August 1947.
Now they are down to zero percent.

Bihar and UP didn't go through 100% cleansing and so you find lots of Muslims there.

The war on terror has cost the US millions of American dollars and lives. A few million innocent civilians have died due to American interference in Latin America, Eastern Europe, Africa and Asia. After years of reading this forum I never doubted that ISIS would become the wave of the future, nor that Pakistanis would become enthusiastic/acquiescent participants in its growth. There has been very little effort to develop a counter-ideology to Islamic extremism. The Sauds are trying but they are hampered by the fact ISIS promotes the same Wahhabi ideology they do - they're competitors, not ideological opponents - and are trying to avoid at all costs embracing the democratic ideals and values that would be effective as the same ideals promote Israel and undermine the Sauds' own legitimacy.
