I agree with your analysis. There are massive reforms required within government departments like FBR, NAB, police, ECP and LDA. Once people of merit are appointed in these places, who genuinely want to improve Pakistan without any political biases, then we will get more internal revenue, security and see the difference. Accountability in bureaucracy will strengthen government. Radical judicial reforms are required to clean out black sheeps from media, judiciary, etc. Financial corruption criminals need harsher punishment, so they can quickly cough up checks for the damage they've caused against Pakistan's national interest.

Well, the body exploding religious extremists are not rejoicing even after their body parts are scooped up from the road sides when it dawns on them that liberals are gaining ground on them.

And it is indeed comforting to know that the future looks bright as the younger generations shows more liberal outlook. I hope Pakistan goes 'westoxified' like Turkey and Malaysia. It will happen in a generation and half. And Naya Pakistan will be seen when it all began.
