Just wonder from where Vietnam can generate much higher export number than their industrial capacity? Which magic? If they work like Singapore or Hong kong as middleman for transhipment purpose is okay, but Hong Kong and Singapore got small number of population so most of their people work in trading services, financing and hospitality. Meanwhile Vietnam got more than 20 times number of population than Sg or HK, yet they pursue service trade growth first.

Transshipment are not counted in trade statistics. By the way the economic boom of Singapore in the 80s was largely due to the manufacturing sector. Even today manufacturing remains our largest economic sector.
