Just for more information. Let's remove this NSG thing to the side, and see the response to Brahmos sale. What possible response can be there from China?

Is there any weapon systems that China doesn't sell to Pakistan which can be sold if we provide Brahmos?

Personal Opinion:

At this point, China sells pretty much everything to Pakistan, so we should just sell Brahmos.

Though I think Brahmos is hyped. No one weapon system can ever completely alter the balance of power.

But you wrong on this , Brahmos can alter the balance of Chinese ships for next few years till they do not develop counter to it.

Too simplistic a thought. China has pretty good missile and aerial defence systems. The hit probability could be at max 20%.

Also, a war is very multi dimensional. If China starts its own warfare, how will Vietnam get the targeting information to guide missiles? Will their systems even remain? Will Vietnam be willing to take such an escalatory measure? Is Vietnam willing to have the Chinese military coming over its land borders?

There are too many possibilities.

See, Brahmos is a very capable system. But, it needs a whole kill chain for good execution, and it can still be countered to some probability.

Russia may sell directly for its own national interests, but to let a third party use its tech for the purpose, is a completely different ball game. we will see how it goes. Its a developing story.

Yes its all geo politics, russia will have some leverage on china regarding India. They can simply washoff their hands saying cant do anything or influence India not to sell. Either way you look at it china gets dinged, either by India or by russia.

wrong old man..Chinas days are counted.. China has not made the rules and neither they ve the capacity to make new or change existing..they are just misusing their vote...so the rules will be changed or bent for few deserving nations like India..and this will only Isolate China...

Yes I Agree, If you seen past , Chinese stopped at the gate Vietnam , they are afraid to engage Viets in Jungle Guerrilla warfare.

Well Missiles system is comes with self targeting radars / controlling radars. These radar are highly mobile and hid / move easily.

1. Vietnam and various countries are waiting for Brahmos Mini/NG not Brahmos 1/2.

2. Brahmos is not a game changer weapon, but it will increase the cost of the counter/defensive equipments.

3. Brahmos NG, would allow Vietnami Airforce to carry three in their Su-27, giving them enough deterrant from the PLAN.

4. Vietnam could be the balancing force, for the China equiping Pakistan for the weapons, which could be used against India.

Isn't China building infrastructure in j&k as part of CPEC?
So, We should look to selling high end weapons to Taiwan as well. On top it, we should aggressively start supporting Free Tibet..

When China does not consider even an iota of our interests, what have we got to loose? Are they going to sell more weapons to our enemy countries? They are doing that already. Will they support terrorists operating against India? They are doing that already.

So, China is already aggressive with it's anti-India stance. India needs to make it stance clear as well.
