How India can harness the soft power of Bollywood

Soft power is underrated by most people. Having a Bollywood industry that sells a positive image of India and Indian culture on a global basis is fortunate for India.

Personally, I think Indian songs have a stronger impact than Bollywood movies since they bring people joy, happiness, and smiles.

I firmly believe that music knows no borders, so let's begin in Pakistan. Due to a love-hate relationship, the majority of Pakistani members will deny it here by saying they don't listen to Indian music. However, at least 90% of Pakistanis actually do.

I'm pleased that Indian music contributes to more joy and happiness by playing a significant role in marriage and other events. There are a bunch of vedios available which are uploaded and probably 90% are usually not uploaded by people. Lets me post only 2-3.

It is a great fortune for India that Indian music is serving the nation for 75 years and playing an important role to sell soft power of India.

The industry is used as a colonizing tool imposing language and culture of a tiny majority on a billion strong.
