How far is India behind China

in 20 years time india can catch up to china of 2012 but not the china of 2032

ahem ahem....japan was booming when one tsunami made it to think other way round...india was richest country in the world for centuries in history...Soviet Union was the Biggest rival to USA....USA was considered as uncrowned king....China was once where india was...Iran was once an ally of United States....Pakistan's economy was once a lot better than indian economy....

ITS JUST A MATTER OF TIME MY FRIEND...u can never ever predict anything....in the 1947....who would have thought india can make a supercomputer?? (no trolling needed...just giving an example)....so never ever underestimate anyone

China's economy was 1.19 T$ in 2001. Assuming a 10% growth rate, China's GDP should be around 3 T$. Then how come Chinese economy is 6.99 T$. The trick is here that the writer considered 7.8% to be the growth rate, whereas 7.8% is the real growth, meaning 7.8% doesn't include inflation.

By Standard Chart estimate, the Indian economy by 2030 or 20 year hence would be 30 T$

I think its Churchill who said in 1947 that in about 10 years India will be history and 64 years later we are still here.

Our 2011 GDP was 7.3 trillion, while we can still sustain a 8-9% growth with ease.

However, India cannot even sustain it with a tiny 1.8 trillion GDP.

Even China's GDP is equal or surpassed to that of US, but that doesn't mean China has surpassed US in the overall technology field.

Same for India, even India has equivalent to our GDP of 2003-2004, it doesn't mean you have reached China's technological level of 2003-2004.

Foreign assistance
Sri Lanka is highly dependent on foreign assistance, and several high-profile assistance projects were launched in 2003. The most significant of these resulted from an aid conference in Tokyo in June 2003; pledges at the summit, which included representatives from the International Monetary Fund, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, Japan, the European Union and the United States, totalled $4.5 billion.:cheesy::cheesy:
YOUR HALF ECONOMY DEPENDENT OF ECONOMIC AID .DON'T COMPARE YOUR COUNTRY WITH INDIA .YOU ARE SAME PAKISTANI LEAGUE.FIRST STAND YOUR OWN FEET COMPARE WITH INDIA.
