I have not been either to Karachi or Lahore, but since alcohol is banned in Pakistan so a person like me will observe a lack of night clubs and discos. Places we visit on weekends. Places like this
Cyber Hub Gurgaon
Or this
Hauz Khas Village
Company parties like this (Random Pic from internet but the Pub is Soi7 Gurgaon)
Trying freshly brewed beer in Gurgaon's micro breweries
Then selecting the one you love the most and chugging it down.(7 Barrels Gurgaon)
If nothing works out, then chilling at your own house reading a book with a bottle of tuborg.
Or go to CP, listen to the noise and drink your beer. You may also end up meeting some nice people.
For many of the people living in Delhi, we will miss our parties and drinks.
And recently, I have started to like this beer a lot, so I personally will miss it too.
one stark difference that one may notice is that India is MUCH more Westernised than Pakistan, so while one wouldn`t find it difficult to get a little drunk and then party in India, it is only the super rich who get these "luxuries" in Pakistan, in private parties mostly in Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore; and that too at a very high cost and a great social risk, since acts like these are considered social stigma and a taboo.
