India has a nuclear no first use policy.
This means China will be the first country to use nukes and India will respond with full force.

Worst case scenario: The entire subcontinent along with China will be flooded with nuclear radiation, Asia will suffer heavily. Almost all of India/China and their neighbors will be heavily affected. Entire world will enter an ice age due to the thick layer of smoke that will cover the Earth.

Moral of the story: Maintain peace.

China has a no-first-use policy, too. In fact, China is the first nation to draw up a no-first-use policy.

India is debating whether to retain its no-first-use policy or to remove it.

You must be a very poor history student. Ever heard of WW II? Ever heard of Imperial Japan's Unit 731? What you failed to understand is that it is not so much the number of people killed at one time but how much killed over time. So of course the two A-bombs the US delivered on Japan would give you ample rhetorical ammunition to use to portray the US as a bloodthirsty warmongering nation. So try to look at how Asians have been killing each other, with WW II as example.

Does it matter if it is democracy or not? Mao killed millions of fellow Chinese in the name of communism. During WW II, Imperial Japan shipped the sons of prominent Asian families back to Japan to indoctrinate them in the belief that the Yamato race is the superior Asian and that it is an honor for other Asiatics to serve the superior Asian race. So we have Asians willing to kill other Asians in the name of political ideologies and racism.

Pakistan, India, China, whenever they decide to go nuclear, they will be firing a large number of nuclear weapons at all sites capable of retaliating with nukes, minimizing chances of a nuclear retaliation.

Unlike the USSR and the US, there is very little chance of intercepting through a missile based ABM, due to the lack of distance between them. The only strategy is to nuke the enemy, and nuke em hard.
