At the first glance I thought the Hindu has been jailed for criticizing and insulting our Hasina Begum, the great Bengali leader of today in the east of the Muslim world. She loves to prophesies a highly developed Bangladesh by 2041. One criticizing her big talking is jailed. It is also same with her father.

No one should be regarded above criticism. Good works praised, but bad deeds must be criticized. However, in reality the law supports only the Muslims and not Hindus. We say so many ugly words to insult Hindu Deities but we do not accept any constructive criticism from a Hindu as well as a Muslim with a free/liberal mind.

It is for the most part a progressive socio-economic system that can form the framework of a welfare state society. Things like Zakat and then the procedure for weddings and so on.

Islam is what it is. It does not have to conform to your 21st century Western sensibilities. When there is zakat, there is also namaz, jizya and jihad. And these things cannot be "reformed" or changed since adding to or subtracting from the deen is prohibited. You, like your role models, want to subtract a lot of things from the deen.
