If Pakistan really wants to move forward, the political and military establishment should develop industry, actually design and develop entirely new city somewhere (far away from Karachi), which has port, airport and all the required mega city facilities.

PS: Gawadar has loads of issues. Even till today there is no drinking water system exists kn entire Gawadar or even Baluchistan except Quetta...

Establishment has sold Karachi to PPP and MQM Zombies. If Government continue to let PPP & MQM destroy the live of the people of Karachi, soon or later they will begin to think that there is no hope and may move toward insurgency. I am sure government doesn’t want tehreek for Karachi to be separated from Pakistan.

I dont agree with the word sold but yes Establishment used and still using ppp to control Karachi, it was started since late 1960's to curb or reduce muhajireens power and control from establishment and it was strengthen after the Bangladesh debacle and the policy was first started by Ayub khan and followed by everyone. Since then all government positions, bearucracies, militaries has been occupied by the people of north and central punjab and hazarawal region.

Why?

Because once they divide the Sindh, they will have to divide Punjab which they dont want. Now why dont want to divide Punjab because they dont want to divide money, administration, power and people. They dont want to start a new struggle as the struggle will be in the name of saraikis. If they divide the punjab, establishment and bearucracies will loose its strength which they derive from combined punjab.
