A few years ago, I consulted with an NGO which sheltered and gave counselling to the women rescued from this life. (It was usually the police or DC offuce which sent the girls there). If a charge is for eg 10000 a session(probably is higher), and you have 5 women available , doing 3 sessions per day. Even if it is 3 times per week that is 150000 per week. One week tackles the rent and expenses of the place; one week is used for paying off law enforcement and the girls.
You still pocket 300000 a month, that is pretty decent earning for whoever “owns” the business
More importantly, it is no longer a case of girls from these Mohalla or prostitution backgrounds. Nowadays any girl looking to make an extra buck gets involved and earns some cash.A few years ago, I consulted with an NGO which sheltered and gave counselling to the women rescued from this life. Nowadays a lot of it’s based of cell phone numbers and social media pages and the girls are (for the want of a better term) Contractor’s. Basically the John sends a request to a pimp by phone and he arranges a woman as requested. No need for proper accommodation.
Oh yeah. Although a lot of the girls fall into it, they start off small then end up much deeper than they ever intended.More importantly, it is no longer a case of girls from these Mohalla or prostitution backgrounds. Money is money. A lot of cell phone thieves once caught were found to be from good families and generally settled middle and upper class backgrounds.Oh yeah. Although a lot of the girls fall into it, they start off small then end up much deeper than they ever intended.
I remember being surprised that some of the women were from “good”, “khandani” backgrounds.
But but..
