yes it should be banned but why only the poor community is banned . why not those places where our elite performs this type of immorality .where such things are called art and the performers are called artists and celebrities. our governments give them nishan e pakistan for presenting soft image of pak. they have same type of job but only class difference exists.

Where did I say only poor should be banned and what makes you think it is for poor. The issue is at other places it might be distributed and just a few households involved but here it is concentrated in one location and it is known for this only.

Prostitution is one of the world's oldest professions. It has remained active in every society to satisfy one of the primal human needs and will remain so despite all the efforts against it. That being said I think the administrators of the time when heera mandi came into being, did a great service by keeping this filth contained within a specified area sparing the respectable parts of the city and it was the choice of gentry and commoners alike to either go or don't go but nowadays containment has failed and the filth has spread to the entire city. People are not sure who lives next door. It could be a decent and moral family or it could be a vice.

Yes we need to find a permanent solution. BTW I don't blame most of the women there because they are mostly victims. It is a big slap on the face of the society / country that calls itself Islamic

i think this business can only be controlled and ended by implementation of Islamic law,economic progress cannot end it,otherwise u.s would not be world top most iporn industry where women are involved in such work for business of owners of such industries who are making billions from running such videos websites and exploiting women

Defence nowadays as well. In fact part of the old heera mandi is now a food street open for tourists as im sure you know too. Had a meal at cuckoos den a couple of months ago. Nothing wow but the views from the rooftop are great (badshahi masjid, shahi qila, minar e pakistan etc).
