fyi.. The word Afghan evolved from the Sanskrit word Avagaṇa which meant Masculine. This was the name used for Pushtuns in Sanskrit and Persian literature.

The USSR sent millions of Muslims to Siberia but yet still Russia had to make peace with its Muslim population to recover.
