Agree but that was a brief period under Tang Dynasty but did not fall under China's rule again until Qing Dynasty.

The Chinese couldn't prevent or stop lowly weak high school students from protesting in Hong Kong even with the massive surveillance regime in place.

The USSR sent millions of Muslims to Siberia to die. A few decades later Russia had to make peace with its Muslim population in order to save itself.

If this isn't false news and propaganda, which I think it is, then China is on the way to a massive civil war. The CIA for example needs only to arm a 100 or so Uyghurs it can be easily done.
