Yes, I think Isreal should be recognized like any regular state by all of the Muslim world in particular Pakistan. I know I am my stock is going to dip in this forum but I feel we have moral responsibility to recognize Isreal.

My reasoning is simple. The Jews who are now in Isreal have been there for over two generations. Therefore removing them is immoral, irrespective of what happened in 1947. Furthermore the Jewish people are placed in ideal position to join the Muslim world and stand against Neo Nazism that is on the rise in Europe.

I must make it clear that I do not support Isreal's policy toward the West Bank or Gaza. However disagreeing with Isreali policy is not the same as not recognizing Isreal. I know there are plenty of Isreali's who do not agree with Isreal's policy toward Palestinian's. I believe we need to be friends with Isreal so that we can use our influence to push both sides to some acceptable middle ground and resolution. In doing so it is win win for both Isreal and Palestine. It is time Isreal was at peace with her surroundings and it is time the wider Muslim world is at peace with Isreal.
