HAPPY HANUKKAH To all my Jewish Freinds

Long live Indo Israeli Freindship

A nice thought, but the context is bitter. There are no Jews left in Pakistan; none free to worship openly, at any rate. Nor is there any movement to right wrongs committed by Pakistanis and their government against the community, or to make Jews in Pakistan feel welcome.

It's the sort of "good wishes" that only affects the air and is empty in deed, so it ends the moment after it is uttered.

It reminds me - though I'm pretty sure the OP is not that kind of person - of Yassir Arafat in 2002 wishing Israelis a happy Passover even as he sent terror bombers into Israeli cities to kill dozens of Israeli Jews: link

.
Jews are welcome in Pakistan to pray,to worship...as our God is one,and we respect prophet Solomon and Prophet David, more then they can even imagine of,as Allah has clearly described them as Prophets, and the 'actual divine path' which they were following and the 'divine gift' which Allah has given them. However, after their departure from earth..shaitan has deviated some groups from original path of light.
Since,we don't accept/identify Israel as a 'country' but a group which has occupied land, for it is contrary to our policitical foreign policy therefore we can't welcome them, just like Pakistani visa cannot work in Israel, one needs blue passport for this.
So,Happy Hannukah.enjoy your stay with us.

Must we feel angry and "bitchy" even when someone wishes nicely.

And why to bring Yes-Sir-Are-Fat (Yasir Arafat Marhoom) in this thread.

Do you happen to be on a Palestinian forum.

Why all this bitterness during the festival of lights.

Happy Hanukkah to all our Jewish friends out there. but correct me if i am wrong is int Hanukkah in the last week of dec?

Noops it changes every year.

Most of Jewish holidays follow lunar calendar just like Muslim holidays.

^ don't you know it :)

Just want to leave this here for you:

Bhai Rescue

Just like we the Pakistanis complain when someone paints all of us with terrorist label

So do Jewish people

when all of them are blamed for bad stuff going on between Israel and Palestinians.

I hope those aren't the only reasons though, there's a lot we Pakistanis have to learn from secular nations in the West.

What you've said is great from an Islamic perspective, but why shouldn't it be true, for the sake of respecting other people's religion? Whatever they may be.

.
happy hanukkah to jews, screw the zionists though.
zionists can kiss my brown ***.

you say happy hanukkah and then cr@p about zionists in the same sentence.

It is like

some non-Muslim wishing you

Happy Eid to all Muslims, screw the extremist Pakistanis, extremist Pakistanis can kiss my white ***.

Now is that what you learned to say on Christmas too?

please go easy on hateful $hit against normal everyday people. Don't paint them all with the same extremist brush please.

Are there any Jews in Pakistan ...or were there ever any?
@Pakistanisage

There is a tiny minority, but most of the Jews in the subcontinent have slowly been moving to Israel for better economic opportunities, easy immigration to Israel and further immigration to USA.

However it doesn't mean we the Pakistanis have any kind of good record on tolerance and care for the minorities.

However it is the festival of lights.

Happy Hanukkah.
