Hafiz Gul Bahadur group reviews peace treaty with govt

If thats the logic then simple solution would be to nuke entire waziristan, why wasting resources and soldiers on them?

Not until the military steamroller has passed over Waziristan from end to end
will there be peace,”

And for some reason you pride at your kinsmen's barbarity, backwardness. If it were upto ME that place would be a radiation hazard.

I would not. The radioactive dust cloud would be too much. And people will have an issue. Trust me not everyone is heartless. Just people are sick and tired of bigots. Using religion to propagate violence.

But then again you're Afghani, why would you care.

on off-topic note, i have suspicion that pakistan is dumping nuclear waste in river indus......some boys from my area went to chasma in mianwali, took bath in river and suffered huge boils, burns and sickness. recently i was told that security on chasma is not allowing any one to take bath in river. ......incidences of cancers have jumped up in my district.

He wants to "review" things. Where was this Munafiq when TTP fighters had and continue to operate from his territory killing thousands of people? Kill him as well.

The only one who had any decency among them was Wazir who openly talked about the dangers of the foreign fighters and had them expelled. He talked about how these savages had treated the tribal folk e.g. abused their women folk who had been married to them and so forth.

They are all a liability and their "deals" are worthless.

If it were heavy water it would have been picked up a lot sooner. It is probably Industrial waste that are being dumped unmonitored.

there should be only A condition for any talks SURRENDER else they should face death , mayhem , destruction or the best GOP should do is A very long jail sentence .. period !

PESHAWAR: Following massive airstrikes by Pakistani jet fighters in North Waziristan last night, Taliban militants met at an undisclosed location on Wednesday to reconsider a non-aggression treaty with the government.

A spokesman for Taliban commander Hafiz Gul Bahadur, who leads hundreds of fighters in the area, condemned the airstrikes that, according to Pakistani military officials, killed at least 60 militants and injured 30 others last night.

Ahmadullah Ahmadi said the group “cannot remain silent over bombardment on people,” calling it a clear atrocity on the civilians.

He said that the Shura (council) has convened this important meeting to assess the situation and hinted that the peace accord with the government might get revoked.

The spokesman warned that the government would be responsible for any destruction in case it did not stop the military offensive.

Pakistani warplanes and helicopters pounded militant hideouts in Mir Ali and Miramshah near the Afghan border, killing 60 fighters.

The Pakistan Army in a statement said “60 hard-core terrorists” including “important commanders and foreigners” were killed in the strikes, without providing further details, and that another 30 were wounded.

Intelligence reports and other investigations confirmed the linkage of some recent terrorist acts across the country with militants targeted in the strikes, said the ISPR statement.

One resident, who identified himself as Saeedullah Khan, said the army had also been firing artillery rounds since early morning.

Another resident, Inamullah, said the airstrikes destroyed several homes and nearby shops in Mir Ali's bazaar, causing civilian casualties.

The claims by the army and residents could not be independently verified. The lawless tribal area is off-limits to journalists.

Clash leaves 11 militants, four security personnel dead in N Waziristan
In a fresh clash between Pakistani security forces and Taliban militants, at least 11 terrorists were killed in Mir Ali of North Waziristan, said an ISPR spokesman on Wednesday.

Four security forces personnel including an officer were also killed in the clash, he added.

Waziristan is part of Pakistan's tribal region, which is home to Taliban and al Qaeda-linked foreign militants who have killed thousands of people.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has been pursuing a policy of negotiation with the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) to end the violence, but those efforts have not yet yielded any results.

@Pak-one looks like your wish of PA taking on good and bad taliban at the same time have been completed.

Lolz. You blast Rangers head quarters that is fine and according to peace accord. And counter reaction strike is a blow to peace process. Wow. Now waiting for "Taliban Nai kartey dehshatgardi koi aur karta hai unka ruup dhaar ke" Excuses. OK. Unke liey ye kahun ga "PAF nai karti bombardment khufia hath karta hai apney planes per PAF ka logo laga key"

Who the hell is this scumbag trying to kid here, when the security forces bombed the TTP out of South Waziristan, he gave them shelter in North Waziristan.

Remember, Wali ur Rehman was killed and North Waziristan.

Hakimullah Mehsud was also killed in North Waziristan.

And this is not the first time he's backstabbed us, previously he sided with Baitullah Mehsud when the security forces had launched operation against him.

Kill the ones who want to fight Pakistan. Spare the ones who are loyal to Pakistan.
Don't underestimate them
10. (C) The good news is that the government has the will to fight extremism and the Army/Frontier Corps is now actively engaged in combat, particularly in Bajaur, Mohmand and Swat. Faced with its weaknesses against a formidable enemy, the Frontier Corps is now accepting USG training, and that is giving us new access and opportunities to improve Pakistani counter-insurgency capability. Pakistan has agreed to build additional tripartite Border Coordination Centers (BCCs), and this month we will expand tactical/target-focused intelligence sharing through the Torkham BCC. The military remains reluctant to expand the U.S. military footprint, but we now have the basis for increased cooperation. We are also delivering Cobra spare parts and upgrading their MI-17 and Bell 412 helicopters so the Pakistanis can operate more than two Cobras on any given day.
