Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that they have learnt their lessons after having three wars with India and stressed that now it wants peace with its neighbour. Speaking to Dubai-based Al Arabiya TV, Shehbaz Sharif called for serious and sincere talks with PM Modi on burning issues like Kashmir among others.

The Pakistani Prime Minister said that he wants to give a message to PM Modi that let's sit and have a serious discussion on the burning issue of Kashmir.

Sharif, just like his predecessors, didn't miss to raise Pakistan's propaganda issues of human rights violations in India, mishandling of minorities or the scrapping of Article 370 in Kashmir.

"My message to the Indian leadership and Prime Minister Modi is that let's sit down and have serious and sincere talks to resolve our burning points like Kashmir. It's up to live peacefully and make progress or quarrel with each other and waste time and resources," ANI reported Sharif as saying.

On wars with India, Shehbaz Sharif said that they've had three wars with India which have only brought more misery, poverty, and unemployment to the people.

"We have learnt our lesson and we want to live in peace with India, provided we are able to resolve our genuine problems," Pakistan PM Sharif said

Yea NDTV is covering this too. He wants to make a big outreach with all kinds of give and take in mind. Not a bad thing to listen to what he has to say.

Oh Allah you promise us that no soul shall be tested more than it can bear.

We as a nation have had enough of the shareefs the zardaris the bhutto and all the corruption from judges the police and the nasty molvis who have kidnapped Islam.
We beg you to free us from them. Take them from this world for they only spread fitna. They don't even care about their humiliation in this world

Ameen

The fun part is, even in those begging seminars, Bilawal couldn’t keep his focus on begging properly.

If Kashmir issue is not resolved, it will slowly transition into water wars and no one will win.

India's ambitions for global clout are impossible without resolution of border disputes with China and Pakistan.

Pak government has not made any serious allegations of water diversions from India. Some conspiracy theorists have, but the govt hasn't.

How can it be resolved when:
-India's position is that it belongs to them
-We refuse to raise the cost to hold this position for them

In other words --- no fear of consequences, no change. Our leadership across all institutions has no will to deter India's swallowing of IOK beyond words / rhetoric --- covenants without swords.

He is right, war gave South Asia nothing

But it won't change

Between Kashmir, mass communal hatred across South Asia, hindutva their will be no peace in South Asia

The Sharif's won't be allowed to embrace Modi, Nawaz tried the same trick, they are thinking how they can benefit economically but the amount of hatred for Hindus and india it will never happen

Indian costs for occupation of Kashmir are rising significantly.

@SoulSpokesman
@Muhammed45

It literally means despites economic issues Pakistan unwavered from its fundamental stance on Kashmir.

Straight and crystal clear stance voiceferously closes all back chanel doors if there were any.

This is good news for India since usually requests for "Talks" with India is followed up by some significant Terrorist attack on India.

Kargil, Uri, pulwama etc. Its a consistent pattern.

India is a LOT safer if there are NO talks with pakistan.
