Growing tension between Iran & Saudia, Middle East, Reasons, Beneficiaries and the Solutions
As we all are almost aware and discussed about growing tension between Iran and Saudi as well as Middle East and the affects of such war, I thought to share a few observations and opinions of mine in words to describe a picture. It is also mentioned here that on some points, I would have missed few things though I will try the best to capture the most and basic reasons within short as a view of situation and consistency of reading for the members.
The Middle East.
The Middle East has been a major center of world affairs; a strategically, economically, politically, culturally, and religiously sensitive area. The region itself has been known to the world as Islamic. Countries across the globe remember the Middle Eastern region as Islamic World and Holy Places of Muslims. Besides all those known facts, whenever the region comes across the mind, after the Islam, the most reminds as OIL resources. We are well aware that every country from the 1st world to the last one is striving for energy which is the key factor of growth for any nation in today’s world. As the every 1st world country has been interested for the same type of energy and has well planned and if necessary then promulgated each and every offshore destination for the achievement in energy sector by every mean whether diplomacy or proxy. It has been well established that Middle East is full of these resources and so far has been enjoying their kingdom and presidency or the luxuries depending upon Oil business. It is also pertinent to mention here that Middle Eastern countries are well rich with oil resources and the same has been utilized for the budgetary expenses as well as to run the country affairs. The US and the entire West have been importing the Oil from these countries by the way of their diplomatic ties in first place. So far, every Middle Eastern country has been enjoying the export label with US and Westerns. In fact well blessed with the resources, it is also famous in term of today’s world that the most of the people in power these oil enriched countries are enjoying the best of luxuries in US & West. The Middle East has become more projected during cold war and to gain most strategic advantage and reach to biggest oil stocks. There are more points of introductions for the region but no need to mention here as the same is in access of every reader through internet.
Saudi Iran growing Tension
While considering the diplomatic relations between Saudi an Iran, the first thing we remember as conflicts of Islamic clerics of both countries. It has been well established through many events happened in Saudi that Iranian were backing unsuccessful riots even during pilgrimage. The incidents of similar events cannot be ignored happened back in 1979 and 1987 and before but going in more detail may drag on the paragraph. Starting from near, in 1979, the Qatif riots came into being motivated by Iranian revolution as it was claimed that Shiite community was not paid equal to Sunnis and area was not developed par to Sunni’s land depending depending upon contribution of area by resources. Believing the same, mobilization of Shiite from around to Qatif increased the demonstration and even the same was centered by Shiite Festivals. In 1987, the clash between Iranian Pilgrims and security forces cannot be ignored while almost the pilgrims from other nations and protesters from Iran become face to face so security forces with no other option stepped in and countered the Iranian protesters to control the situation. In the end almost more or less 400 deaths were reported due to the same riot right at the time of pilgrimage which is so far not an act that may be conduct during pilgrimage. There were arrests upon investigation following these events and many were apprehended as per law of Saudi Arabia. On other hand in Iran, it has been observed that the equal leverage to the Sunni’s community was not given as par to Shiites in Iran. It is also observed that even in Tehran, Sunnis are not allowed to build Masjids and on occasions of Eid so also the Friday prayers, have to be offer the prayers but in vast in open grounds. The ratio of executions of Sunnis in Iran is much higher than any other community which is mostly based upon sectarian issues. Looking at the events and reports, the execution style of both countries is same however Iran has been leading in count of execution since 2014 and in 2015 as well even UN has expressed her concern in the same subject. It is also pertinent to mention here that executions in Iran were always centered on communities other than Shiite, mostly Sunnis or being political rivals. So far about the riots in Iran, it is witnessed that almost every protest or riot was staged in Iran due to political conflicts or for the revolution based upon Shiite ideology. While if we have a look about executions in Saudi then it wouldn’t be wrong to say that those executions were almost based upon criminal procedures and sometimes due to the subject of flaming the sectarian based ideology. Furthermore, if we have a look at it in view of foreign interventions and interference, it would be right to say that US & Partners worked every bit of their best to gain the power by influence in region by applying the different methods in Middle East. The US and West tried to maintain the same system of their influence right during cold war while on other hand Russia & Warsaw Pact strive to come up with same solution for the region by their presence. Both these countries have paid more than the price yet never understood the great game of US NATO and Russia Warsaw Pact. It is very clear to see that the unrest of region is based upon the same ideology all the way before/after WW1 as modern Middle East till the times of Cold War and so on. Both US NATO and Russia Warsaw Pact systems were forced to be executed in this region though it was never ideal. The relevancy and affects of these 2 systems are open and clear to see in short as US & partners are backing their ideology by favoring the every country which is in their block to counter Russia. On other hand, Russian Warsaw Pact are working day & night to favor their allies for the same ideology which is also backed by Iran and Syria as well as being Shiite governance. For the sake of achievements in the region, Saudi and Iran were always pushed to the edge of unrest and tensed situations throughout these years by these 2 systems. The most emphasis in this paragraph was to draw the base of the picture for the growing tensions between these 2 countries however the detail is always available in each and every corner through internet.
Not to forget Iran while talking Middle East Crises
The thoughts of Iran since the day after revolution towards Saudis are enough to understand. Being Shiite Sect, it is noticed many times about Shiite thoughts towards Saudis are like that current Saudi Royals are not eligible to serve the Holy Kaa’ba. The riots during pilgrimage in Saudi are also evidence throughout the history which can be seen as more concrete based. Iran has been always trying to get rid of Saudi Kingdom and current royal family ruling Saudi Arabia. Iran has also favored the Bashar in Syria due to the same relations being Shiite. Rest; there was no feasible reason to favour Bashar against the wish and whim of the Syrian nation despite being Shiite government. The sectarian element, which has been openly practiced and so also being expressed in different ways by Iranian clerics is also a reason of flames of war in Middle East. The support of Iran during Iran-Iraq war by Israel can not be ignored as one of the reasons as Israel remained always concerned with every rising Islamic power. It is also known to us that execution rate in Iran opposing to Saudi are much higher on base of Sect. The majority of Jews living in Iran can not be ignored with respect to their influence in government and to support the sectarian thoughts against Sunnis as Sunnis still can not practice the Islam in the manners and independence as far as Shiite are granted.
The Oil Trading, change in Regional Shape.
The shape of region started to change after WW1 and so on. In the cold war era, the same become theater of ideological struggle between US, NATO and Russia Warsaw Pact to influence the regional allies and there was also an ideological conflict between these two systems. It is also necessary to mention here that despite being in relations as per diplomatic ties with 2 different systems, the region was also based on Shiite and Sunnis Sects. Well to avoid the debate of sects depending upon Shiite and Sunni, this point alone be left here though the sects system can not be ignored as one of the reasons for current situation of region flamed by anti-Islam powers via proxies. As we have discussed so many times as well as it is well known to all of us that US & West relies most upon the Oil acquired from Middle East through import, the term is used when a party buys and take delivery of her goods from origin to destination. But here, the most case is, the term import was costly for the buyers so being big by muscles, the 1st world countries started to use lobbying viruses to influence the origin of Oil and get what may cost them heavily if to pay in cash. Furthermore, keeping in view the lack of diplomatic understandings in Middle Eastern countries and indulged by luxuries, the buyers took benefit of every advantage for them.
We should not forget that Shia-Sunni conflict was most beneficial for the US and West consequently never let the region be united nor to live in peace for the betterment of their people. Remained divided in languages, sects and tribes have been fighting for so called honour yet never understood being fooled. The entire region has been busy in self proclaimed war for honour, which is not to say wrong, was very well executed as per propaganda of the thirsty buyers. Despite being well educated, rich in culture, very optimistic and mostly the believers of true religion Islam, unfortunately blind folded by their worldly love which indulges them in chase of liberty instead following the teaching of Islam for their success. Even being rich by cultures, being optimistic by population and most of the reason being Muslims, the norms of independence and practice of rights of mankind were not applied as deserved to be. Islam taught the complete system for the life of an individual, the social system and to handle the affairs of state. Without going in deep in religious way of affairs, it is good in short to say that the powers of region always forgot about the religion of their own yet become victims of 1st world and fought for the sake of own goals and worldly luxuries.
The influence from West used almost the same trend for the people to be fooled to feel more independent and pushed them towards anti-state thoughts though no one was forced to do so but the best tools to lure the emotions were used. While talking about the tools to attract the most emotions, in short, Media would be more feasible here to say and details can be fetched by readers for going in depth that how a monopoly of Media was being utilized to capture the mind and thoughts of people. World powers used each and every mean in this region to influence their presence and in other words to claim the royalty of must source of energy, the Oil. The oil lovers have been playing the best cards in this region to achieve their goals 1) by diplomacy and influence for greedy leaders and 2) by flaming the region with sectarian conflicts while supporting the both sides for maximum damages.
The countries of Middle East themselves.
During the cold war and to gain the advantage of influence by two systems 1) US & NATO and 2) Russia Warsaw Pact, the extreme damaging was done to the region. The leaders of Middle East indulged with luxuries and by continue feed of venom to feel them the right ones, made them blind and forget about the rights of people, necessity of time and use of resources for growth for self reliance. It is also evident that there were different means of interventions used by 1st world countries to sabotage the peaceful living and growth of this region like I) in the name of War against terrorism, II) in the name of liberation, iii) in the name of risk to peace of world and IV) in the name of security of Israel which is the far most reason but hidden and never expressed. Each and every single power of Middle East used the influence just for the sake of their own luxuries and to enjoy the most of offered by 1st world countries. Keeping in view the facts, the Iran-Iraq war is not to forget which was also observed as an injected fear into Iraqi’s leadership regarding joining of Iraqi Shia majority with Iran being motivated by Iranian revolution. This does not end with any fruitful gain for the both side but weaken much the both Islamic countries.
The presence and survival of Israel become more important besides other necessities for US & West. The US & West always determined to achieve whatever they can to secure Israel in every mean. Middle East being Muslim countries was feared to be a threat for Israel and indeed due to the same reason US & allies always practiced the proxy way to let the region be busy rather to stand united to oppose the insane and contradictory to mankind acts of Israel. The first step of Israel against mankind was taken in Palestine where the all of the 1st world countries are quiet for such acts. To raise the voice for the rights of Palestinian and to oppose the barbaric attitude of Israel, no Middle Eastern country came frontward. Being secured well by 1st world and knowing the weaknesses of Middle Eastern and all Islamic countries as well, Israel occupied the most of Palestinian lands by violating all the laws. As it can be seen that Iraq was the first most threat to Israel therefore, Iran and Iraq were firstly pushed to a war then Israel heartily supported Iran against Iraq. Being non Arab, Israeli establishment came into being in 1948 by occupying the Palestinian lands; Israel became more valuable for the US & West in the region. So far, in general, it can be said that the one of the most reasons for the unrest of Region especially Islamic countries is the proxies created & favored by Israel. We all are well aware about the influence of Israel in the corridors of D.C and west which she used the best for establishing the maximum conflicts in the region. So far it is well observed that Israel always threatens Iran for consequences but kills the Palestinians most and on other hand Iran threatens the Israel but kills the Syrians most.
The Middle Eastern countries have been promulgated with thoughts of their powers to gain superiority in the region. Almost the every country has manipulated the situation to get benefits for their own sake rather seeing the damages brought to the sovereignty and respect of Islamic world. Being influenced with thoughts of superiority, which was never practiced in Islam but their minds become greedy of the same most reason and never let them to think once about the reputation as well as the consequences that may bring the unrest to the whole region. Almost every power of this region has been playing offensive but hidden with the help of their made proxies just to feed their evil soul of ego.
Keeping in view and being working hard for influence in Middle East, the US and partners came along with several conspiracies and executed them well in the minds of leadership and people of this region. In the love of resources, almost the region has been pushed to the edge of disaster and to the brink of demolition. Contrary to these happenings, intention of Oil lovers was also being well told to the people and many of greedy leaders though the power holders shredded the wish of their own people but drowned in rivers of emotions though become divided and left upon mercy of enemies. The US and partners invaded Iraq in the name of WMDs though nothing was found but on the other hand a much well quantity of Oil was either obtained or smuggled but all transported into their homelands. It also an astonishing fact that black market has been playing a key role for such shipments. Despite being super power and geared with the most advance technology, no any western or US herself ever tried to hunt down such smugglers and black market share holders but enjoyed the most by their business. It can be seen that every Oil businessman/company use to pay the people in power to gain more influence rather being believing to pay the same to the country which may bring far more fruitful results to the people though the resources were never to be sold for the sake of individual but nation in whole.
Al-Qaida (AQ)
As an overview, I will mention the least facts here. AQ was basically founded as well as known, in the era of USSR. It would have been present before but was never famous what it becomes during invasion of USSR in Afghanistan. As far as I can observe, the foundation of AQ was based on theory to fight against anti-Islam powers and to gain trust of Muslims but was never determined to touch any Islamic country or to become an anti-Islamic State element. The drama of OBL is well witnessed and there were weaknesses at our end but due to un-avoidable circumstances and few of them were, Pakistani office bearers whether democratic or in uniforms. After OBL, Zawahiri who himself was influenced with much thoughts of extremism, believed to go against even any Islamic country despite the thoughts of OBL. That was the point when AQ turned into beneficial and not related proxy for US & West to gain influence in region and countries by the way let the terror be raised so we can come.
ISIS
ISIS by the name as Islamic State of Iraq & Syria (in English). The creation of ISIS can be observed as the best ever created proxy. The ISIS came into being and pledged their allegiance to AQ. ISIS internal conflicts raised firstly as when Al-Baghdadi expressed over a single formation for Iraq and Syria as of his fantasy under his control which was denied by Nusra’s Golani, the Baghdadi’s Syrian counterpart. The Nusra’s Golani put the matter to the then top AQ leadership supervised by Zawahiri who himself informed Al-Baghdadi to cancel such formation and leave the Iraq and Syria be as 2 different countries. While seeing the collapse of dream and being puppet, Al-Baghdadi even started to fight against AQ and his Syrian counterpart which already pledged allegiance to AQ Zawahiri so the internal conflicts started. It is also to be noted that ISIS worked after coming into picture from Iraq and then marched towards Syria in chase of same fantasy. In beginning if I am not wrong, they started with executions and fight with Shia community so achieved to gain the trust of Sunnis in Iraq. Then after, as soon as they gained enough manpower and captured the first most ground area for their operations, started their practice based upon extreme education by demolishing each and everything coming in their way even their own Syrian counterpart. They way ISIS works and claimed to be the Muslims is easy to be understood by every Muslim that in Islam there is no such thing like extremism, brutality, massacre and butchery practices of them.
Al-Qaida (AQ) & ISIS for US & West
As being bound by human rights and world was seeing every thing in detail, the US & West partners thought a way out of being law abiding and came with an ideology where they can practice the best of their evil. Though in start, the AQ was founded to remain back stage and cause the maximum damage to USSR which it does and till then AQ remained the best friend for US and West. After USSR, the US & West as planned started to think to reach the Oil in Middle East and strived to erase AQ off the picture who gained most Islamic trust. The most favorite and weak point as Alpha of entry was Iraq which was weaken enough being in fight with Iran for almost 10 years. In the name of WMDs Iraq was invaded but the most interesting business was to start the gaining of influence in Middle East and the Oil business indeed believing the theory of influence after WW1 and cold war era. After every war it is well noticed that US & West needed an exit while leaving the country in jeopardy. To skip the blame, they always planned to come up with the fear of proxy to let the country be remaining in war until & unless no human left. The liberation of any country was never the subject for US & West but oil and their presence indeed. As long as the so called terrorists are there, the US & West will be able to access the land. It is also noticed, that when ISIS started the most brutal fight in the name of Islam, AQ came to oppose and also the fights of these groups are witnessed as good and bad terrorists. The links of AQ in this world currently are far less to be connected with US & West but ISIS in most so the equation here can be understood in short as ISIS is fully backed by US & West to make it like two birds with one stone. However, based upon the foundation of Islamic fight, the AQ become center of ideology for Muslims to fight US, West and anti-Islam elements so also being favored to fight the system of Russia including Iran & Syria. Moreover, Iran used his Shiite card and tried to pull much out of AQ in the name of Sect to use the most for her ideology and the same was well favored by Russia as well. In the meantime, the ISIS counterpart of Golani become the favor of Sunnis and AQ. US & West believed upon, let the ISIS fight and spread the terror so they will remain present in the name of war against Terrorism, will smuggle more Oil and will remain the symbol of influence among Middle Eastern countries so to achieve the same goal the desire of single foundation of Iraq & Syria was injected into ISIS on first place. On other hand, AQ cannot be dealt by US & West so funded the ISIS in every mean to counter AQ as well. In the end and to be short, both the proxies are used in good fashion by US, West, and Middle Eastern countries for their own sake. In the end, all these usages of proxies for the sake of own influence even it by US, West, Russia or Iran either Arab world, created a mess.
The above lines are based upon events, tragedies and civilian conflicts started in Middle East since from WW1, cold war era, Iran-Iraq War, Gulf War, Yemen Civil Insurgency, Iran Revolution, Egypt Conflict especially Morsi & Sisi, Sinai insurgency and most of all and the far damaging Syrian conflicts. Though there can be almost 1000 of pages those can be written about above major conflicts and reasons of today’s unrest in Middle East but to express the most relevant and a base picture, I tried to be specific with necessary & key events.
The most needed Islamic Solution.
The teaching of Quran and Sunnah are the best constitutions for practice to bring the peace to any Islamic or non-Muslim region/country. The example of life of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) is merely good enough too for solution of any kind of conflict as being Leader, Sipa Salar, a civilian and in every aspect. We are well aware about the sectarian issue which is gradually affecting the Muslim world like a slow poison. The Ulema of Muslim World are required to step forward and may come up with solution rather believing of self ideology. The leaders of Muslim world are required to arrange such atmosphere for the Islamic Scholars that may take care of this issue alone, the Sects. It is also necessary that while teaching of Islam, the minds ought to be clear of aggressive thoughts. Ulema are required to teach the people, practice the same and need to tell the people by adopting every mean to let them learn and become aware about the ideology of Tue Islam. Such practice will eventually and gradually educate the people and will let them know about their rights though the sectarian proxies could be countered in this manner as well. While keeping in view of Islamic teachings, there are more than enough solutions for any kind of such conflicts even outside or within Muslim Countries. I wouldn’t try to go in deep further and the same formula may be applied by every Muslim low in info as well that to being in such debate it is always needed to be aware of each and every thought of Islam. So far this discussion was merely to highlight one of most needed and best way for solution.
The democratic or diplomatic solutions due to non-Muslim powers.
As we all are aware that almost each and every war in Middle East is based upon either due to be in power against wish and whim of people or being influenced with sectarian emotions. Being the Islamic Region, it is necessary to bring solutions as per Islam those are in favor of all of the parties. The US or Western style of constitution or law cannot be applied and never can be executed due to lot of differences in values, cultures and religious indeed. The office bearers are needed to step down for the betterment of the country and need to hold an election or referendum to let the people choose what is best for their future and in their favor. From war between two countries to civil insurgency, it is most evident that the one in power used his or her influence only to remain empowered. Being aggrieved, deprived by the rights and no redress of grievances, the panic and such insurgencies grown among people so the proxies came into being. All of these countries may need to feel their responsibilities and to aim to clean their own houses first. A coalition is needed to form not to merely save the presidency or kingdom but for betterment of region and to bring peace to get rid of proxies. The crises of Middle East are indeed to be resolved with first priority other than any personal benefits. Indeed the peace in this region is in favor of the world to be at peace other wise it will not result in less but destruction of whole mankind.
Responsibility of Pakistan and Peaceful Middle East.
Being a Pakistani, whenever we think about Middle East, it reminds us of love of brotherly nations and hospitality and about our Holy Places. The Islamic brotherhood always bonds us with Middle East being Muslims. It is also an honour for us to being First Islamic Atomic Power and the same was well appreciated by all the Islamic countries. The brotherhood and support by Middle East was always here whenever we needed. Pakistan cannot forget the favor so also the love of Middle East for us and our sovereignty. In every crucial time, Pakistan has been supported by almost every Middle Eastern country in possible manners. Being an Islamic Atomic Power, it is the must for us to play our part in peace process of Middle East not just for the region, the governments, and people but in the name of Islam as well. The growing pace of Pakistan is well enough to be evident as an Islamic country with the help of our Islamic Brethren. As much as the peaceful is Middle East, the Pakistan will be growing sufficiently as per available resources with steady and firm development. Indeed the requirement of energy are our far most priority which can only be sufficed with the help of Middle Eastern countries especially KSA. Pakistan should use her best and good offices to bring the peace to the whole region. It is also necessary to kept in mind that Pakistan has been through the same terrorism dilemma that Middle East is going to experience and keeping in view the same, Pakistan can affect more perfectly for betterment. It is further mentioned here that, Pakistan being an Islamic Country has better diplomatic ties with almost each & every party in the region, therefore, bringing them to table talks wouldn’t be that difficult. The role of Pakistan Army cannot be forgot and the respect among Middle East and Muslim world. While mentioning the reputation of Pakistan, it would be delighted to say that current COAS has brought more honour and confidence to the Pakistan as well as Muslim world and the same can be evident by involving the COAS in current talks with respect to Middle East peace. Pakistan should actively perform her duties without any delays and need to use the diplomatic doors for best possible solutions. Pakistan ought to need to perform vital role in modification and training of army of Muslim Countries as being well experienced in conventional and proxy wars with better results. The CPEC and other projects are the formula involving the Arabian Sea almost into it, therefore, the peaceful Middle East and having of brotherly neighbors is far comfort and relaxed environment for Pakistan to gain as much as can by these projects. Pakistan should step forward to call these nations to a brotherly point to talk about the issues and reservation. Pakistan need to create an environment for meetings of peace talks of these nations and region as well by inviting them to Pakistan being brother for them. After all, the security of our holy places is our duty beyond any excuse and Pakistan did not forget the same though it can be seen throughout history that whenever the time came to secure our Holy Places, Pakistan never hesitated to do so. Therefore, this time, it is also the must for us and as being a Muslim Atomic Power, by the grace of ALLAH, we should put our every effort to bring peace to the region. As much as the region is peaceful, Pakistan will gain each and every energy source whatever is needed.

It is our duty to understand the tricks and treat of every non-Muslim country. Being Muslim, the way of life as per norms of Islam cannot be ignored nor can be skipped if we want to live an honoured life and to be rise before ALLAH with no pity and regrets. Islam never thought about extremism nor the Islam was spread forcibly but it was always with examples of our actions and to remain the best of civilization. It is our duty to obtain the best of the knowledge, learn every subject but never to forget the learning & education of Islam as well. Being a Muslim it is also our duty to defend the Islam and as well as our country till the last breath which is the pride and honour for us.
Whatever has been mentioned above may be treated as an observation by me and presenting of my opinions. I have not claimed anything to be the exact fact but each and every word is shared in view of circumstances, happenings and readings. Though I may have mistakenly mentioned anything but the fact of lies, conspiracy or to flame anything may kindly be ignored or not to be considered at all as such is not intended. Saudi Iran growing Tension
While considering the diplomatic relations between Saudi an Iran, the first thing we remember as conflicts of Islamic clerics of both countries. It has been well established through many events happened in Saudi that Iranian were backing unsuccessful riots even during pilgrimage. The incidents of similar events cannot be ignored happened back in 1979 and 1987 and before but going in more detail may drag on the paragraph. Starting from near, in 1979, the Qatif riots came into being motivated by Iranian revolution as it was claimed that Shiite community was not paid equal to Sunnis and area was not developed par to Sunni’s land depending depending upon contribution of area by resources. Believing the same, mobilization of Shiite from around to Qatif increased the demonstration and even the same was centered by Shiite Festivals. In 1987, the clash between Iranian Pilgrims and security forces cannot be ignored while almost the pilgrims from other nations and protesters from Iran become face to face so security forces with no other option stepped in and countered the Iranian protesters to control the situation. In the end almost more or less 400 deaths were reported due to the same riot right at the time of pilgrimage which is so far not an act that may be conduct during pilgrimage. It is also pertinent to mention here that executions in Iran were always centered on communities other than Shiite, mostly Sunnis or being political rivals. So far about the riots in Iran, it is witnessed that almost every protest or riot was staged in Iran due to political conflicts or for the revolution based upon Shiite ideology. While if we have a look about executions in Saudi then it wouldn’t be wrong to say that those executions were almost based upon criminal procedures and sometimes due to the subject of flaming the sectarian based ideology. Furthermore, if we have a look at it in view of foreign interventions and interference, it would be right to say that US & Partners worked every bit of their best to gain the power by influence in region by applying the different methods in Middle East. The US and West tried to maintain the same system of their influence right during cold war while on other hand Russia & Warsaw Pact strive to come up with same solution for the region by their presence. Both these countries have paid more than the price yet never understood the great game of US NATO and Russia Warsaw Pact. It is very clear to see that the unrest of region is based upon the same ideology all the way before/after WW1 as modern Middle East till the times of Cold War and so on. Both US NATO and Russia Warsaw Pact systems were forced to be executed in this region though it was never ideal. The relevancy and affects of these 2 systems are open and clear to see in short as US & partners are backing their ideology by favoring the every country which is in their block to counter Russia. On other hand, Russian Warsaw Pact are working day & night to favor their allies for the same ideology which is also backed by Iran and Syria as well as being Shiite governance. For the sake of achievements in the region, Saudi and Iran were always pushed to the edge of unrest and tensed situations throughout these years by these 2 systems. Not to forget Iran while talking Middle East Crises
The thoughts of Iran since the day after revolution towards Saudis are enough to understand. Being Shiite Sect, it is noticed many times about Shiite thoughts towards Saudis are like that current Saudi Royals are not eligible to serve the Holy Kaa’ba. The riots during pilgrimage in Saudi are also evidence throughout the history which can be seen as more concrete based. Iran has been always trying to get rid of Saudi Kingdom and current royal family ruling Saudi Arabia. Iran has also favored the Bashar in Syria due to the same relations being Shiite. Rest; there was no feasible reason to favour Bashar against the wish and whim of the Syrian nation despite being Shiite government. The sectarian element, which has been openly practiced and so also being expressed in different ways by Iranian clerics is also a reason of flames of war in Middle East. The support of Iran during Iran-Iraq war by Israel can not be ignored as one of the reasons as Israel remained always concerned with every rising Islamic power. It is also known to us that execution rate in Iran opposing to Saudi are much higher on base of Sect. The majority of Jews living in Iran can not be ignored with respect to their influence in government and to support the sectarian thoughts against Sunnis as Sunnis still can not practice the Islam in the manners and independence as far as Shiite are granted.
The Oil Trading, change in Regional Shape.
The shape of region started to change after WW1 and so on. In the cold war era, the same become theater of ideological struggle between US, NATO and Russia Warsaw Pact to influence the regional allies and there was also an ideological conflict between these two systems. It is also necessary to mention here that despite being in relations as per diplomatic ties with 2 different systems, the region was also based on Shiite and Sunnis Sects. Well to avoid the debate of sects depending upon Shiite and Sunni, this point alone be left here though the sects system can not be ignored as one of the reasons for current situation of region flamed by anti-Islam powers via proxies. As we have discussed so many times as well as it is well known to all of us that US & West relies most upon the Oil acquired from Middle East through import, the term is used when a party buys and take delivery of her goods from origin to destination. But here, the most case is, the term import was costly for the buyers so being big by muscles, the 1st world countries started to use lobbying viruses to influence the origin of Oil and get what may cost them heavily if to pay in cash. Furthermore, keeping in view the lack of diplomatic understandings in Middle Eastern countries and indulged by luxuries, the buyers took benefit of every advantage for them.
We should not forget that Shia-Sunni conflict was most beneficial for the US and West consequently never let the region be united nor to live in peace for the betterment of their people. Remained divided in languages, sects and tribes have been fighting for so called honour yet never understood being fooled. The entire region has been busy in self proclaimed war for honour, which is not to say wrong, was very well executed as per propaganda of the thirsty buyers. Despite being well educated, rich in culture, very optimistic and mostly the believers of true religion Islam, unfortunately blind folded by their worldly love which indulges them in chase of liberty instead following the teaching of Islam for their success. Even being rich by cultures, being optimistic by population and most of the reason being Muslims, the norms of independence and practice of rights of mankind were not applied as deserved to be. Islam taught the complete system for the life of an individual, the social system and to handle the affairs of state. Without going in deep in religious way of affairs, it is good in short to say that the powers of region always forgot about the religion of their own yet become victims of 1st world and fought for the sake of own goals and worldly luxuries.
The influence from West used almost the same trend for the people to be fooled to feel more independent and pushed them towards anti-state thoughts though no one was forced to do so but the best tools to lure the emotions were used. While talking about the tools to attract the most emotions, in short, Media would be more feasible here to say and details can be fetched by readers for going in depth that how a monopoly of Media was being utilized to capture the mind and thoughts of people. World powers used each and every mean in this region to influence their presence and in other words to claim the royalty of must source of energy, the Oil. The oil lovers have been playing the best cards in this region to achieve their goals 1) by diplomacy and influence for greedy leaders and 2) by flaming the region with sectarian conflicts while supporting the both sides for maximum damages.
The countries of Middle East themselves.
During the cold war and to gain the advantage of influence by two systems 1) US & NATO and 2) Russia Warsaw Pact, the extreme damaging was done to the region. The leaders of Middle East indulged with luxuries and by continue feed of venom to feel them the right ones, made them blind and forget about the rights of people, necessity of time and use of resources for growth for self reliance. It is also evident that there were different means of interventions used by 1st world countries to sabotage the peaceful living and growth of this region like I) in the name of War against terrorism, II) in the name of liberation, iii) in the name of risk to peace of world and IV) in the name of security of Israel which is the far most reason but hidden and never expressed. Each and every single power of Middle East used the influence just for the sake of their own luxuries and to enjoy the most of offered by 1st world countries. Keeping in view the facts, the Iran-Iraq war is not to forget which was also observed as an injected fear into Iraqi’s leadership regarding joining of Iraqi Shia majority with Iran being motivated by Iranian revolution. This does not end with any fruitful gain for the both side but weaken much the both Islamic countries.
The presence and survival of Israel become more important besides other necessities for US & West. The US & West always determined to achieve whatever they can to secure Israel in every mean. Middle East being Muslim countries was feared to be a threat for Israel and indeed due to the same reason US & allies always practiced the proxy way to let the region be busy rather to stand united to oppose the insane and contradictory to mankind acts of Israel. The first step of Israel against mankind was taken in Palestine where the all of the 1st world countries are quiet for such acts. To raise the voice for the rights of Palestinian and to oppose the barbaric attitude of Israel, no Middle Eastern country came frontward. Being secured well by 1st world and knowing the weaknesses of Middle Eastern and all Islamic countries as well, Israel occupied the most of Palestinian lands by violating all the laws. As it can be seen that Iraq was the first most threat to Israel therefore, Iran and Iraq were firstly pushed to a war then Israel heartily supported Iran against Iraq. Being non Arab, Israeli establishment came into being in 1948 by occupying the Palestinian lands; Israel became more valuable for the US & West in the region. So far, in general, it can be said that the one of the most reasons for the unrest of Region especially Islamic countries is the proxies created & favored by Israel. We all are well aware about the influence of Israel in the corridors of D.C and west which she used the best for establishing the maximum conflicts in the region. So far it is well observed that Israel always threatens Iran for consequences but kills the Palestinians most and on other hand Iran threatens the Israel but kills the Syrians most.
The Middle Eastern countries have been promulgated with thoughts of their powers to gain superiority in the region. Almost the every country has manipulated the situation to get benefits for their own sake rather seeing the damages brought to the sovereignty and respect of Islamic world. Being influenced with thoughts of superiority, which was never practiced in Islam but their minds become greedy of the same most reason and never let them to think once about the reputation as well as the consequences that may bring the unrest to the whole region. Almost every power of this region has been playing offensive but hidden with the help of their made proxies just to feed their evil soul of ego.
Keeping in view and being working hard for influence in Middle East, the US and partners came along with several conspiracies and executed them well in the minds of leadership and people of this region. In the love of resources, almost the region has been pushed to the edge of disaster and to the brink of demolition. Contrary to these happenings, intention of Oil lovers was also being well told to the people and many of greedy leaders though the power holders shredded the wish of their own people but drowned in rivers of emotions though become divided and left upon mercy of enemies. The US and partners invaded Iraq in the name of WMDs though nothing was found but on the other hand a much well quantity of Oil was either obtained or smuggled but all transported into their homelands. It also an astonishing fact that black market has been playing a key role for such shipments. Despite being super power and geared with the most advance technology, no any western or US herself ever tried to hunt down such smugglers and black market share holders but enjoyed the most by their business. It can be seen that every Oil businessman/company use to pay the people in power to gain more influence rather being believing to pay the same to the country which may bring far more fruitful results to the people though the resources were never to be sold for the sake of individual but nation in whole.
Al-Qaida (AQ)
As an overview, I will mention the least facts here. AQ was basically founded as well as known, in the era of USSR. It would have been present before but was never famous what it becomes during invasion of USSR in Afghanistan. As far as I can observe, the foundation of AQ was based on theory to fight against anti-Islam powers and to gain trust of Muslims but was never determined to touch any Islamic country or to become an anti-Islamic State element. The drama of OBL is well witnessed and there were weaknesses at our end but due to un-avoidable circumstances and few of them were, Pakistani office bearers whether democratic or in uniforms. After OBL, Zawahiri who himself was influenced with much thoughts of extremism, believed to go against even any Islamic country despite the thoughts of OBL. That was the point when AQ turned into beneficial and not related proxy for US & West to gain influence in region and countries by the way let the terror be raised so we can come.
ISIS
ISIS by the name as Islamic State of Iraq & Syria (in English). The creation of ISIS can be observed as the best ever created proxy. The ISIS came into being and pledged their allegiance to AQ. ISIS internal conflicts raised firstly as when Al-Baghdadi expressed over a single formation for Iraq and Syria as of his fantasy under his control which was denied by Nusra’s Golani, the Baghdadi’s Syrian counterpart. The Nusra’s Golani put the matter to the then top AQ leadership supervised by Zawahiri who himself informed Al-Baghdadi to cancel such formation and leave the Iraq and Syria be as 2 different countries. While seeing the collapse of dream and being puppet, Al-Baghdadi even started to fight against AQ and his Syrian counterpart which already pledged allegiance to AQ Zawahiri so the internal conflicts started. It is also to be noted that ISIS worked after coming into picture from Iraq and then marched towards Syria in chase of same fantasy. In beginning if I am not wrong, they started with executions and fight with Shia community so achieved to gain the trust of Sunnis in Iraq. Then after, as soon as they gained enough manpower and captured the first most ground area for their operations, started their practice based upon extreme education by demolishing each and everything coming in their way even their own Syrian counterpart. They way ISIS works and claimed to be the Muslims is easy to be understood by every Muslim that in Islam there is no such thing like extremism, brutality, massacre and butchery practices of them.
Al-Qaida (AQ) & ISIS for US & West
As being bound by human rights and world was seeing every thing in detail, the US & West partners thought a way out of being law abiding and came with an ideology where they can practice the best of their evil. Though in start, the AQ was founded to remain back stage and cause the maximum damage to USSR which it does and till then AQ remained the best friend for US and West. After USSR, the US & West as planned started to think to reach the Oil in Middle East and strived to erase AQ off the picture who gained most Islamic trust. The most favorite and weak point as Alpha of entry was Iraq which was weaken enough being in fight with Iran for almost 10 years. In the name of WMDs Iraq was invaded but the most interesting business was to start the gaining of influence in Middle East and the Oil business indeed believing the theory of influence after WW1 and cold war era. After every war it is well noticed that US & West needed an exit while leaving the country in jeopardy. To skip the blame, they always planned to come up with the fear of proxy to let the country be remaining in war until & unless no human left. The liberation of any country was never the subject for US & West but oil and their presence indeed. As long as the so called terrorists are there, the US & West will be able to access the land. It is also noticed, that when ISIS started the most brutal fight in the name of Islam, AQ came to oppose and also the fights of these groups are witnessed as good and bad terrorists. The links of AQ in this world currently are far less to be connected with US & West but ISIS in most so the equation here can be understood in short as ISIS is fully backed by US & West to make it like two birds with one stone. However, based upon the foundation of Islamic fight, the AQ become center of ideology for Muslims to fight US, West and anti-Islam elements so also being favored to fight the system of Russia including Iran & Syria. Moreover, Iran used his Shiite card and tried to pull much out of AQ in the name of Sect to use the most for her ideology and the same was well favored by Russia as well. In the meantime, the ISIS counterpart of Golani become the favor of Sunnis and AQ. US & West believed upon, let the ISIS fight and spread the terror so they will remain present in the name of war against Terrorism, will smuggle more Oil and will remain the symbol of influence among Middle Eastern countries so to achieve the same goal the desire of single foundation of Iraq & Syria was injected into ISIS on first place. On other hand, AQ cannot be dealt by US & West so funded the ISIS in every mean to counter AQ as well. In the end and to be short, both the proxies are used in good fashion by US, West, and Middle Eastern countries for their own sake. In the end, all these usages of proxies for the sake of own influence even it by US, West, Russia or Iran either Arab world, created a mess.
The above lines are based upon events, tragedies and civilian conflicts started in Middle East since from WW1, cold war era, Iran-Iraq War, Gulf War, Yemen Civil Insurgency, Iran Revolution, Egypt Conflict especially Morsi & Sisi, Sinai insurgency and most of all and the far damaging Syrian conflicts. Though there can be almost 1000 of pages those can be written about above major conflicts and reasons of today’s unrest in Middle East but to express the most relevant and a base picture, I tried to be specific with necessary & key events.
The most needed Islamic Solution.
The teaching of Quran and Sunnah are the best constitutions for practice to bring the peace to any Islamic or non-Muslim region/country. The example of life of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) is merely good enough too for solution of any kind of conflict as being Leader, Sipa Salar, a civilian and in every aspect. We are well aware about the sectarian issue which is gradually affecting the Muslim world like a slow poison. The Ulema of Muslim World are required to step forward and may come up with solution rather believing of self ideology. The leaders of Muslim world are required to arrange such atmosphere for the Islamic Scholars that may take care of this issue alone, the Sects. It is also necessary that while teaching of Islam, the minds ought to be clear of aggressive thoughts. Ulema are required to teach the people, practice the same and need to tell the people by adopting every mean to let them learn and become aware about the ideology of Tue Islam. Such practice will eventually and gradually educate the people and will let them know about their rights though the sectarian proxies could be countered in this manner as well. While keeping in view of Islamic teachings, there are more than enough solutions for any kind of such conflicts even outside or within Muslim Countries. I wouldn’t try to go in deep further and the same formula may be applied by every Muslim low in info as well that to being in such debate it is always needed to be aware of each and every thought of Islam. So far this discussion was merely to highlight one of most needed and best way for solution.
The democratic or diplomatic solutions due to non-Muslim powers.
As we all are aware that almost each and every war in Middle East is based upon either due to be in power against wish and whim of people or being influenced with sectarian emotions. Being the Islamic Region, it is necessary to bring solutions as per Islam those are in favor of all of the parties. The US or Western style of constitution or law cannot be applied and never can be executed due to lot of differences in values, cultures and religious indeed. The office bearers are needed to step down for the betterment of the country and need to hold an election or referendum to let the people choose what is best for their future and in their favor. From war between two countries to civil insurgency, it is most evident that the one in power used his or her influence only to remain empowered. Being aggrieved, deprived by the rights and no redress of grievances, the panic and such insurgencies grown among people so the proxies came into being. All of these countries may need to feel their responsibilities and to aim to clean their own houses first. A coalition is needed to form not to merely save the presidency or kingdom but for betterment of region and to bring peace to get rid of proxies. The crises of Middle East are indeed to be resolved with first priority other than any personal benefits. Indeed the peace in this region is in favor of the world to be at peace other wise it will not result in less but destruction of whole mankind.
Responsibility of Pakistan and Peaceful Middle East.
Being a Pakistani, whenever we think about Middle East, it reminds us of love of brotherly nations and hospitality and about our Holy Places. The Islamic brotherhood always bonds us with Middle East being Muslims. It is also an honour for us to being First Islamic Atomic Power and the same was well appreciated by all the Islamic countries. The brotherhood and support by Middle East was always here whenever we needed. Pakistan cannot forget the favor so also the love of Middle East for us and our sovereignty. In every crucial time, Pakistan has been supported by almost every Middle Eastern country in possible manners. Being an Islamic Atomic Power, it is the must for us to play our part in peace process of Middle East not just for the region, the governments, and people but in the name of Islam as well. The growing pace of Pakistan is well enough to be evident as an Islamic country with the help of our Islamic Brethren. As much as the peaceful is Middle East, the Pakistan will be growing sufficiently as per available resources with steady and firm development. Indeed the requirement of energy are our far most priority which can only be sufficed with the help of Middle Eastern countries especially KSA. Pakistan should use her best and good offices to bring the peace to the whole region. It is also necessary to kept in mind that Pakistan has been through the same terrorism dilemma that Middle East is going to experience and keeping in view the same, Pakistan can affect more perfectly for betterment. It is further mentioned here that, Pakistan being an Islamic Country has better diplomatic ties with almost each & every party in the region, therefore, bringing them to table talks wouldn’t be that difficult. The role of Pakistan Army cannot be forgot and the respect among Middle East and Muslim world. While mentioning the reputation of Pakistan, it would be delighted to say that current COAS has brought more honour and confidence to the Pakistan as well as Muslim world and the same can be evident by involving the COAS in current talks with respect to Middle East peace. Pakistan should actively perform her duties without any delays and need to use the diplomatic doors for best possible solutions. Pakistan ought to need to perform vital role in modification and training of army of Muslim Countries as being well experienced in conventional and proxy wars with better results. The CPEC and other projects are the formula involving the Arabian Sea almost into it, therefore, the peaceful Middle East and having of brotherly neighbors is far comfort and relaxed environment for Pakistan to gain as much as can by these projects. Pakistan should step forward to call these nations to a brotherly point to talk about the issues and reservation. Pakistan need to create an environment for meetings of peace talks of these nations and region as well by inviting them to Pakistan being brother for them. After all, the security of our holy places is our duty beyond any excuse and Pakistan did not forget the same though it can be seen throughout history that whenever the time came to secure our Holy Places, Pakistan never hesitated to do so. Therefore, this time, it is also the must for us and as being a Muslim Atomic Power, by the grace of ALLAH, we should put our every effort to bring peace to the region. As much as the region is peaceful, Pakistan will gain each and every energy source whatever is needed.

Being Muslim, the way of life as per norms of Islam cannot be ignored nor can be skipped if we want to live an honoured life and to be rise before ALLAH with no pity and regrets. Islam never thought about extremism nor the Islam was spread forcibly but it was always with examples of our actions and to remain the best of civilization. It is our duty to obtain the best of the knowledge, learn every subject but never to forget the learning & education of Islam as well. Being a Muslim it is also our duty to defend the Islam and as well as our country till the last breath which is the pride and honour for us.
