The fun part will be when both protesting parties withdraw their prostests without NS's resignation just because the army said so (with a little more drama for effect obviously).

Will prove who was actually behind it and who is the real boss of pakistan. IK and Qadri will soon forget their kaffan and protest till death.

the constitution and assemblies are rendered useless yet are used by every general after he takes over! we celebrate army's powerful role and rate their patriotism above everyone else yet they are government employees and morale vanishes with retirement. this is beyond their job description. overall its a depressing situation and nothing to celebrate in this whosoever are the players. the only point which interests me is that whether Gen Raheel shared Pasha's passion (or script) or not!

Govt did all it can, it just doesn't want re-elections. Who is suppose to come into play then? Judiciary?

People don't trust Judiciary anymore after its links with corruption and bias against Imran Khan for exposing them.

My Message to all the so called "PRO DEMOCRACY" Supporters who are against the ARMY INTERVENTION in Political matters. In my opinion NS should have resigned and saved face and his dignity instead of requesting COAS just to prolong his rule, No Ghairat at all

WELCOME to Politics of Pakistan. This is "LANGRII LOOHLII JAMHOORIYAT", without support from Army this infant Democracy wont Evolve.

The system does not evolve because of the quality of politicians we have, but that is not the most significant reason. The biggest reason is that there are enough number of even educated people who have no concept of the importance of constitution.

Is it any surprise that IK/TuQ combine refused to accept guarantee of Sirajul Haq, nor of Governors of Punjab and Sindh both. Now that they are accepting guarantee of COAS, what sort of politicians are they???

So, you can see that I am not making stuff up.

Still doesn't prove active support of PTI by ISI or By Pasha.

He met after retirement, he wouldn't be holding much influence.

Secondly, what sort of credibility does a foreign journo have? Any person can say anything.

I was hoping for more conclusive proof like ISI providing money or something like that.

It was well known within the agency that Pasha was an admirer of IK in a "personal" capacity. But this admiration never translated into full fledged support for PTI.

Inshallah he will be overthrown when ballot papers are opened and thumb verifications carried out. Someone will launch an FIR against 'Mian' Iftikhar and other judges so they will be produced in the court and grilled, and pay for their crimes. PA has a score to settle with Iftikhar!!!

Not about ghairat. Its about survival. You do not seem to understand the rules of the game. Its either Takht or Takhta. If NS had ghairat, he would have refused to leave Pakistan in 2000 and would have been hung by Mushy. I hope it is a little clearer now.

Funny thing is that Imran Khan was going on and on about rigging elections but now seems to have made peace with rigging democracy itself by agreeing with the use of the the army as a mediator. If an election is rigged, you can work towards changing that the next time but if you mess up the fundamentals of your democracy, you won't need to be bothered about just rigging of elections. 5 years of the previous government & a election mandated change have all gone to waste. Pakistan has simply set the clock back.

Judiciary is not an institute where there is comrade-ship like army or police. Judiciary seemingly too was avoiding political meddling.

Hahahag, bhai, i remember you making some senseabke posts in other thread few days back, and i believed that if you know ISI then you wpuld know how things are run ---- but i guess i was wrong --- you only believe what you want to believe --- bhai, Military was involved in middle of July, when Ch.Nisar asked for Article 245----even the night of 13th Aug ch.nisar and SS were in a meeting with COAS, heck he had been in constant contact with him +----gurantees were taken from both sides and COAS was the middle man, this was start of this sit in ---- un daso ----
