Both are correct. Depending on which side of the manmade border you are. Which again you have the British to thank for.

No need for thanks. Its open source.
Please do not educate me on how to spell my name.

For Indian contributors,

You people are living still in 70's when because of some BS generals & son of traitor we lost geographically non-contiguous area of Pakistan when sufficient military muscles required to grip over area thousands Km away from center which Pakistan hadn't. That's open secret or fact.

When you come to Balochistan, don't release traditional 71 fart so often. Pain came out only from those who have some disease of separatism. Continuation of treatment not in interests of disease symptoms.

These thugs want money as Bugti received and there their fart of rights will be pulled back.
Not even serious as molded in this thread.

Who will support Baluchistan if it tries to secede
You need countries which are contiguous to support freedom bid
Afghans are too weak and Iran will be wary of a free state

A total of 71 posts from May 2013 and this is your tone. Interesting.

Over 3200 post since 2008 and this is your tone? You should know by now, most of Indian presence is on the borders. We perhaps have around 30K troops dealing directly on counter insurgency in Kashmir, the rest focus on the borders.

Either we are living in the 70's or we are engaging in a 4th generation proxy war - only one can be true.

It's a wakeup call for us Pakistanis. When foreigners start meddling and expressing such interest in our territory it ought to wake us all up. There are serious grievances and they must be addressed at the highest level.

Some countries are very eager to meddle and disintegrate specifically this part of Pakistan. This is not a hidden secret to us. I just wish the political leadership had the insight and the competency to settle the Balochistan crisis. It is too much of an ask with the current crop.

Don't you worry. Things are under control. Our Federal government might be sleeping but the forces are not. There is an exemplary working relationship between CM Malik (a nationalist BTW), and the Corps Commander. Situation is getting better with time. Khan Qalat is a bygone case.

Agreed. That also explains why the Pak armed forces always have to bear the brunt. Thank God for the Pak armed forces. The hate will make us only stronger and more determined. Khan Qalat is indeed over expiry date. He is irrelevant.

Please write in simple and understandable English. I did not get what you are trying to say.

That's understandable seeing how you miss-comprehend what @MilSpec wrote.

However yes, I wrote it loosely from my cell. Let me rephrase it -

So denying delusion of yours that its you (Pak) who are protecting us (Ind), and believing in our own strength , equals to asking for disintegration of Pakistan?

.
That's the kind of problem with Indians. The tend to overreach when it comes to Pakistan and cry wolf when Pakistan moves beyond kashmir and supports insurgency elsewhere.
What about khalistan, what about Mumbai attack, what about Dawood................. Mate you are looking to the mirror which suits you.

.
Does Pakistan gives support to Nagaland fighters, Maoists or the Assam rebels ?
You have and you even supported the Khalistanis in the 80s/90s, this is internationally accepted.

‘Govt may soon lose all control over Balochistan’ - Pakistan - DAWN.COM

KARACHI: The prince of the defunct Kalat state and chief of the Baloch Rabita Ittefaq Tehreek, Prince Mohyuddin Baloch, has warned that if the government fails to settle by the end of 2015 the Balochistan issue according to the aspirations of people, it will soon lose all control over the situation.

“We have so far managed to restrain [disgruntled] Baloch people but after Dec 31, 2015 the situation will get out of our control and our rulers will no more be in a position to do anything to reverse it. After the end of this year, we will be forced to allow Baloch people to take any path they like,” said the prince at a press conference held at a local hotel here on Thursday.

He was accompanied by his younger brother Prince Yahya Baloch of Kalat.

Take a look: Cannot rule out presence of IS militants in Balochistan: Dr Malik

He said: “So far, our 5,000 children have been killed and some 10,000 people have been kidnapped, but no one should think that the resistance has been crushed. It is correct that Baloch are by nature slow, stubborn and quarrelsome, but when it comes to war no one can defeat them.”

The entire world was increasingly becoming interested in Balochistan and trying to take advantage of it because of its strategic position. All wanted to exploit its resources at the cost of Baloch people who remained deprived with little positive impact on their life, he said.

The prince who remained federal minister in military ruler Gen Ziaul Haq’s regime said: “My father Khan of Kalat had attached his autonomous state to that of Pakistan on the advice of the Quaid-i-Azam and in the hope that a big Islamic state was in the making, but after its coming into being, the Pakistan of the Quaid-i-Azam and Allama Iqbal was forgotten.

“Though we were a small state, we were content with whatever we had. Not only were we practising Islam but we also used to have a form of democracy in line with our Baloch traditions, but after joining Pakistan, we lost everything and were grossly neglected by the new state,” he said.

He recalled that a democratic government was dismissed in Balochistan in 1972 because everyone had set their sights on its resources and every ruler wanted to exploit its strategic position.

“Sometimes Baloch people were branded as traitors and foreign agents without producing any proof. But in spite of it we always talked about peace,” he said.

He said that from 1976 to 1999, the situation remained comparatively peaceful in the province but afterwards it went downhill. “Today we see use of force, mutilated bodies dumped in deserted places, even I could have got killed but let me make it clear that at present Baloch people are not at war but are staging protests and even those who have climbed to mountains tops are not engaged in fighting,” he said.

He said the objective of the protest was to draw the government’s attention and make it listen to them but, regretfully, no one was paying any heed to their cries. “If someone thinks Baloch organisations have vanished into thin air, he is mistaken. No doubt some Baloch leaders are abroad and others lie low within the country, but all resistance groups are part of Baloch nation and everyone has its sphere of influence,” he said.

In reply to a question the prince said the purpose of his press conference was to awaken the establishment in Lahore and Islamabad from their deep slumber and bring home to them the fact that Baloch people were not happy with the present situation. “Pakistan at present is passing through the worst crisis of its history. The country has not even a semblance of governance. Some say it is being ruled by people in uniform, others say people in black suits are running the affairs and yet others say people in civvies are real rulers,” he said.

He said that he did not recognise Nawaz Sharif as a true ruler because he did not have genuine authority. “He is merely a face of the establishment. In case of any change, such rulers will fly to the country where they have amassed their assets,” he remarked.
Balochistan has never been better and its getting better by every passing day and these jokers will also be dealt

The gentleman himself represents the biggest issue with Balochistan. These three tribes have been eating 19% of GDP all by themselves, they have enjoyed power for decades howevee the blame for their incompetence goes to the govt. I'll take him as much seriously as Akhtar Mengal.

@Irfan Baloch - @DESERT FIGHTER

What kind of public support does he command ?
He is blaming house of Sherifs as well in addition to customary blame on the GHQ

He has not named India and America but has indirectly blamed them for chaos in Baluchistan for their own ends.

He has correctly correlated the time 99-present (Afghan civil war, American invasion of Afghanistan ) as a direct consequence for unrest in Baluchistan which multiplied as the Indian conciliates mushroomed along the border in Afghanistan.

True to an ethnic leader he has restricted his protest for the Baloch people only & failed to mention the plight of other communities specially Hazara and Punjabis who have been systematically targeted over decades.

He has mentioned the dumping of bodies but didn’t bother to mention Afghan intelligence, Lashker Jhangvi and BLA that have been practicing this for years.

He has correctly dismissed Nawaz as a true representative of Pakistan and predicted that Nawaz will flee the country and has already stashed his fortunes abroad.

In the end he has stated the obvious and didn’t present any solution. He failed to mention the killing of teachers and polio workers, he has shied away from mentioning the killing and abduction of labourers working on infrastructure either and instead of offering any solution or playing a part in controlling the chaos he has only used threats and bickering to show how much pissed off he is. Which pretty much every Pakistani is but that’s not how leaders behave they take control and fix things if that is ever in their agenda (apart from hosting Arab hunters ).

What new India is going to try in Balochistan?

By the way why Indian commentators feel so accomplished about Mukti Bahini and Baloch insurgency? It was always KGB who started and established both these insurgencies. Indians came in later just to reap the benefits.

Balochistan is more of a failure on part of Governments and Sardars, and with apologies @DESERT FIGHTER also if educated people of Balochistan still think that they have to avenge the deaths and keep the infighting of tribes going on, then chances of any development are very low. Sardars will always have unlimited supply of soldiers and servants at their disposal.

And Balochistan deserves much needed fair treatment, and anyone who thinks if I am wrong just go visit Sui sometime and see it for yourself how we kept / and keep people deprived (won't go into details) and then wonder why they are disgruntled.

.
Pakistan will collapse and end up the way of Sudan which split into north sudan and south sudan if it does not halt the genocide it is waging on Pashtuns in NWFP and balochistan.

As far as India is concerned ,we don't need to do anything. The Saudis are cannibalizing Pakistan. Anyways after Pakistan is devoured by the Saudi wahabbi virus ,Pakistan will collapse. The reason for this is the warlike nature of Islam and the extreme sectarian warfare/anti-kafir mentality.
