great decision.there are many Muslim economist better than him.he is not only one available for us.we have seen his decision as govt raised gas price which will hurt poor public rather than preventing losses due to theft by rich

. .
All big talk of merit from Imran Khan falls flat today.

.
I was not mentioning Atif mian when i said "working against the country's interest" read my post with open eyes and mind before passing a judgement.

No need to mind when the judgement is spot on.

.
congratulations to the people of Islamic Republic of Pakistan and PTi government.

. .
okay guys..it is over now. Let's hope such mistakes are not repeated in the future. Keep your calm guys and no need to abuse each other. I'm sure it will be new day tomorrow.

PTI did an 'actual' u-turn on one of its major principles. Its principally horrendous. I might not have lost my faith into IK that much but certainl PTI as a party cannot stand even little pressure at all. They need to improve otherwise even great decisions will turn out to be just smoke rather than something substantial.

I don't care he is Qadyani /hindu or what ever... We just need the right man to do the job.. Why didn't pti thought about this blacklash before appointing him as an advisor .... No wonder PTI govt is labeled as U-Turn party.

Give them time, guys. They have just tasted power. Will learn in due time. PTI is far far better option than PPP and N league.

PTI must avoid controversies as of now....Sword is about to fall on corrupts. Khan needs public backing and not to give any chance to opposition to play with

no sir he was not reject for being minority Pakistan has appointed Hindu as Cj of Pakistan and their no no hue and cry over his appointment Mian was rejected because he is a Qadiyani a follower of cult that doesnt agree with law of Pakistan!
I am not talking about what he was or not bro but this became a drama which could have been avoided in the first place. Any ways it is over now so no need to stretch it.

For all my so called liberal friends let me just simplify and explain the entire issue here. There is nothing against the minorities in pakistan, minorities can work and roam around freely nobody is stopping them, either you are Christian, Hindu, Sikh or Jew all minorities in pakistan are equally respected and deserve equal rights. The problem here is that Qadyani's or Ahmedi's dont consider themselves as being minority, they call themselves as muslims and at the same time they don't believe in Prophet Mohammad as last Prophet of Allah, instead they have their own leader who calls himself as prophet. As per islamic laws and constitution of pakistan all such people cannot be called as muslims, nobody is against qadyani's if they call themselves and consider themselves as being minority rather than muslims.

However taking this decision and then reversing will hurt PTI. It was better if so such decision was taken in the first place than to later reverse it. I hope they do not repeat such mistakes in future. For example Aamir Liaquat.
However, we do cost vs benefit analysis, I think overall it will be better since you cannot antagonise the whole nation and face resistance on each and every step. For example, if any hard decision are to be taken, the patwaris would have attributed it Atif Khan. PTI has to increase the tax collection and this is a voluntary process. If the large majority does not trust the govt, it will abstain from paying the taxes. So now after his removal, there will be one less reason for the opponents and distractors to oppose the govt.

Are you really putting Liaquat and Mian in the same sentence? One is an elected leader with no competency, the other the best Pakistani economist there is who was asked to serve in an advisory role with no lawmaking ability.

Those antagonized aren't the ones that need be appeased. Basic human rights and merit above those making noise. Those avoiding paying taxes are the ones that need to be brought before the law and punished. There hasn't been an ahmadi in the finance dept yet Pakistanis haven't payed taxes to any govt for the past 70 plus years. Those crying extremists who had a problem with Mian are not in a position to be paying taxes anyways, they're mostly jobless nutjobs with no skills. Besides your concept of taxes are not how taxation works. An economically viable Pak isn't going to come about by trying to reason and "bring on board" detractors and opponents.

whatever the decision has been taken...

You're still going around in circles. Please be straight. I asked you before, who are the "well wishers" who've only proven to NOT be listened to?

Pinky peerni has done wonders in first week. She was Behind the transfer of DCO for ex-husband. She asked them to demand applogy in her dera. big shaitan is hidden behind the veil, as she dictate things from 1st day. she will ruin all imran khan efforts by dictating and impose her decision. Imran himself beleives her as spiritual relation with this peerni.

She's wasn't nor there was any evidence that suggested. it was khawar maneka. IK also put an enquiry on the whole thing.. lets not treat like her as Reham khan and ruin their marraige like this country has done in the past. Unless there is open evidence lets just not induldge into this nonsense shall we good sir?

Your point is valid but the question is that they have been declared non Muslims already under the state law, now why start making them an issue? This was an advisory post and was not such a big post at all. This issue was high lighted to get international attention.
