Same stupid argument Indian members have had here and we beaten it to death. Here we go again.

Our cruise missiles are our own yours is Russian made. Our curise missiles range and how it behaves is similar to Nato. Yours is in its league of its own. If you wana call it yours.lol
We were talking about what India makes locally? No? It makes cars thats about it. Bramos is a joint venture with Russia. Same goes for s-300. We have all seen how the Syrian(Russian) air defense system performs against American cruise Missiles. Hint look at the pictures.

Your own?

Lets consider the situation more carefully.
America took some 7-8 years, spent billions of $ in R&D, did 100 something tests and had 30 something failures before the Tomahawk was deemed ready and it still fails once in a while even now, but somehow pakistanis can do it in a fraction of the cost and time with no hiccups?
Babur was barely even tested before it was deemed inducted.
You lot would tell us that pakistan has somehow surpassed the market leaders in cruise missiles?

The audacity to even think that a country like pakistan which had no industrial background for high tech engineering or the technical knownhow for making complicated subsystems for cruise missiles could develop and induct complicated systems like cruise missiles on their own, systems which are uncannily similar to planes, that too in a few years, yeah right.

You lot, your military brass included wouldn't spare a single second not mentioning something even as minor as a nut or bolt "made in pakistan" that is used in a pak weapon yet we still don't know what turbofan engine and seeker is used in Babur.

Even more suspicious is the fact that no failures were ever reported.

Deep down we all know its most probably a ready made chinese system.

As for Brahmos.
We don't call Brahmos our own, its a joint venture.

Majority of the subsystems in BrahMos excluding the seeker and the ramjet engine is Indian.
However, only recently an indigenous X-band SAR seeker was tested on BrahMos in an attempt to make it 100% Indian, leaving only the ramjet engine to be developed in India.

Why doesn't India just build it's own 5th gen fighter? They did such a great job of totally independently making the likes of Tejas, Brahmos and Akash, in sure a 5th gen fighter would pose little challenge. It could even enter service sometime in 2150 :laughcry:

now what you've done is exactly what you've just said, its a design and its old. heck even looking at the image i can see there's no antenna array for the rear of the jet.

What that means is there is a brand new design coming up.

For example, the above design has a radar in the nose, but the new design will remove the radar from the nose. The nose will instead carry something else.

Perhaps the Chinese will cancel the J-20 because, according to India's "Air Marshal", it would be "inferior" to a Rafale-class fighter like the J-10C. :disagree:

The more correct reply would be, "It appears we will have to further improve the J-20".

. . .
RBE2AA only has 160KM range(target RCS=5m2)

With only 836 of GaAs T/R units.

And J10c's AESA has 300+Km detection range with a nose cone over 700 mm in diameters. Rafale is not a big deal anymore.

I suggest you can go for F35, don't waste money.
your wrong about range and RCS V/s Squ Mts calculations western targets are now calculated as per 3Sq Mts and in AESA calculations its 2 Squ Mts and dtection range for RBE2AA as that on latest Rafale India is getting is 165 Miles not Kilo metres and one mile is 1.6 KM's and that to for a 2 squ metre target not 5qu metre target

5 Squ metre targets are Russian standards since cold war era go read it and western standards have always been 3Squ metres and now in AESA they are 2Squ metres ... is it jelousy of nit getting hands on israeli stuff for copy pasting or what ;) :sarcastic:

The PESA version of the RBE-2 can detect a 3m2 target at 140Km. The range was deliberately reduced because they wanted to focus on LPI.

For the AESA, their goal was to increase the detection range by 50%, ie above 200Km, for the same sized target. But they have in fact doubled the range. So we are talking about ranges well above 250Km.

Pakistan is the only country on this face of earth that has no missile or any other test fails , absolutely no setbacks :p:
Apparently they have the most advance missile technology in all of Asia :yahoo:
And they did it with no technological base to support this development and absolutely no heavy industries:azn:
We don't know about its seeker because it doesn't really have one:cheesy:,and it's turbofan engine is just a Chinese one
They even sold crashed tomahawk cruise missiles to China just like they sold stealth helicopter that was used in abottabad:dirol::close_tema:

Yeah, you occupied the US too .... now you are theri bitch  ....... how long before you turn into India's bitch ?

I would say the next 15 to 20 years would suffice.

Meanwhile your aircraft carrier floats about without any aircrafts in it. So if I were you, I would go easy on the sarcasm. It does not suit you anymore.
today you dont need any army, airforce or navy to take down a government, just remember that.

as for air crafts for our qec's we have taken delivery of f35, does india have 5th gen fighters?

I thought that you guys have learnt your lesson from world war 1 and 2...

Or are you talking about creating more problems in Asia... to test the capabilities of Rafale and typhoon...

".
did you read out what you just said, you've lost credibility, im out. not even worth it.

.
Maybe uk can sell them their 5th gen plane ?? oh wait ..... you don't build that anymore, right ? You just brag about buying it form the US. lol.
why shall we build our own,
we have a design of our own but scrapped it.
FOAS.png

the uk is very much involved in the development of the f35 so it does not bother us if the f35 is not entirely british or not. heck we were very much stake holders, as we were involved in the initial selection process between the boeing and lockheed martin designs.

besides were working on 6th gen fighters..........
