Hi
The way Gen.Musharraf toured countries like Brazil & Argentina it showed his commitment for developing cordial relations with others countries, this shows his far sightedness, people have to give him credit for that nobody is perfect every one is prone to commit mistakes so he has few blunders to his name as well including his desperate desire to stay in power by striking deals with PPP in Dubai. He tried to reflect a more moderate image of Pakistan to the rest of the world, what's wrong with that. he is the one who gave voice to Pakistani media.
Musharraf never passed an ordinance like Mr.Z to prevent people from speaking ill of him through sms. I don't know what kind of people say that Musharraf is like Hussni Mubarak where as the present so called democratic government has been more repressive than alleged dictator aka Musharraf.
I am surprised at some of the members of PDF, despite being aware of the facts that during Musharrafs era Pakistan was able to get f-16's, Eireye, gave a major boost to Pakistani satellite programme, UAV's, deal for U-214 and a lot of other defense equipment. People here are still favoring the so called democracy just for the sake of getting on the band wagon without realizing where they are headed.
