Well, to second our esteemed Field Marshall
*, I just can't bring religion into it …
because not being Muslim I cannot play this tug of war of religious sectarianism
**
and not being party to secret codes, I only saw a young girl on the photo, no more.
So congratulations to her first and her parents second, about whom : do we know if
any other children they schooled got even near such levels? That would show their
qualities as educators alongside the evident one of the young lady.
Yup that's what I meant..slowly build it up...
Basic "General Science" as I had it takes care of the fundamentals at a lower level, like atom, molecule, sun etc etc.
Wow, those are good fundamentals, Jango! I'm afraid these don't get through that well
everywhere even in top developed countries, 25% of Americans think the Earth is at
the center of the Solar system ( despite the etymological contradiction of Sol = Sun ).
I like that of your view but take a different view on
slowly build it up. We do not grow in
the physical sense the same way from individual to individual. I don't trust we do mentally
either.
We certainly don't all do it equally or there'd be no one to notice the preponderancy of idiots.
In fact, I'd suggest a perfect school would not use calendar years for bodies of study matter.
Some matters take a mere 4 months to teach and some kids longer than that to learn them.
Progress and measurement are rounded out in the West particularly to fit the year cycle not
the teaching-learning one. It would be an ironic turn that the rigidity of this hailed system of
education kept it from performing on average as well for brilliant individuals than the "less
organized" ones of "lesser countries".
As long as the exams to be taken are well made and certified by the government, they can
be taken at different times by all, what does it matter? A supple approach favors the individual.
In my book, ethnicity, sect & religion is mostly an accident of birth. Real worth of a human being is what one achieves thru his/her efforts and inherent qualities.
Agreed and applauded to! And on top of that, I only need to judge those inherent qualities
inasmuch as danger to others and self and possible cooperation are concerned. Past that,
each human I meet is free to think and behave as they wish.
I'll welcome open ( and calm ) discussion on the particularities mentioned above if my inter-
locutor so wishes, to know and understand them better but they define you less than how you
treat the feeble or serve your community or play the game of life in general.
A feather may be blue, white, gray or brown, it is still a feather : we are birds of one flock.
Bravo again Sitara, good for Pakistan and the world to have you and good day all, Tay.
* Hello milady!
** Nor would I really wish to.
