راولپنڈی+ اسلام آباد (سٹاف رپورٹر+ نیوز ایجنسیاں) جنرل راحیل شریف نے کمان سنبھالنے کی تقریب میں سربراہ پاک فوج کو زبردست خراج تحسین پیش کیا۔ تقریب کے بعد سابق آرمی چیف کو فوجیوں نے زندہ باد کا نعرہ لگا کر خدا حافظ کہا جبکہ آرمی چیف جنرل قمرجاوید باجوہ جب انہیں رخصت کرنے پہنچے تو راحیل شریف نے گاڑی میں بیٹھتے ہوئے کہا ’’او کے‘‘ جنرل باجوہ بیسٹ آف لک، جس کے بعد راحیل شریف اپنی اہلیہ کیساتھ گاڑی میں بیٹھ کر روانہ ہوگئے۔ جنرل (ر) راحیل شریف نے سبکدوش ہونے سے 3 ہفتے پہلے ہی آرمی ہائوس خالی کردیاتھا اور سامان بھجوا دیا تھا گزشتہ روز آرمی ہائوس واپس نہیں گئے اور دفتر سے سامان لے کر روانہ ہو گئے اور فوج کی کمانڈ نئے آرمی چیف کو سونپنے کے بعد آرمی ہائوس واپس جانے کے بجائے سیدھے لاہور روانہ ہو گئے جہاں بیدیاں روڈ پر ان کا ذاتی گھر ہے۔ واضح رہے کہ جنرل (ر) راحیل فوج کی طرف سے ملنے والا پلاٹ پہلے شہداء کے خاندانوں کیلئے وقف کر چکے ہیں۔ آرمی ہائوس قبل از وقت خالی کرکے انہوں نے

What's Raheel Pasha's future plans? I would love to suggest the following:

• A memoir, possibly in English. I think it'll be a best-seller.
• Creating a foundation for humanitarian purposes. I think enough contributions will be made. Young folks, especially from colleges, working on voluntary basis will learn a lot about leadership and hard work.
• Arranging lecture tours at home and abroad. Business folks love to learn how to formulate strategies, tactics and go for execution with competent leadership skills by examples at the most difficult times.

He has said that he'll dedicate his life for the welfare of the families of martyrs. He's had two martyrs in his own family so may be because of that he is so committed to it, even during his years as COAS he did a lot in this regard.

Ghazi and Shahuda of wars were given agricultural land by Government of Pakistan at that time. Raheel's family is family of martyrs. A normal sepoy (A ghazi) from my village ...... his agricultural land valued in millions at current market prices.

Residential plot and commercial plot subisdised may be ........ financed by some deduction from his pay cheque.

Just heard of it. Respect him even more now. This is an example for not just politicians but all of us. Not necessarily you have to act like a goon to get respected. Be honest to your people & this will not just make you a respected person but a loved one.

This is the package which he gets when 4 star General retires in Pakistan. Some of these things came from the package he and his family got after his brother was martyred in 1971. Our Martyrs families specially those who receive Nishah e Haider the highest military award get massive package including agricultural land and also money and few other things. Also Government school for there area.

So he is donating the package received by his brother's family? How can RS donate the money that belongs to his brother's widow? Isn't unfair towards his brother's widow?

If the package was given to his martyred brother then that money belongs to the widow and children of his brother and does not belong to RS unless we are saying here that this is a case of patriarchal family where RS calls all the shots while his brother's widow remains a mute spectator...

Let's go back to the same idea in more explanation. When a general retire in Pakistan armed forces, receives a package and sr. RS donated whatever he got in this package. It doesn't say he donated everything........including the belongings of his brothers' families.

Is that clear now?
