Gen Raheel was also in no one's list when the race to COAS started. The strongest candidates kept changing, the weakest one came out to be the winner :P

Some Military Nerd is Posting these Tweets can anybody Enlighten us on his Concerns ??

1. Govt favoring nephew of Justice Ramdy for DG ISI . Gen Javed Iqbal Ramday serverd as Instructor Infantry School.

2. Lt Gen Javed Iqbal Ramday is a nephew of Justice (R) Khalilur Rehman Ramday, one of the master mind of rigged elections of 2013.

3. The proposed appointment of Lt Gen Javed Iqbal Ramday is a part of International Conspiracy against ISI, Pak Army & Sovereignty of Pakistan!

4. Final Assault on Pakistan's Sovereignty with the proposed appointment of Gen Ramday as DG ISI !!!!

ISI is fully subordinate to the Pakistani state and its interests. ISI is a military intelligence organization not a civilian one, therefore it has to be lead by a military officer.

And ISI should come under the command of COAS not PM.

. . . .
Only when if the PM is not corrupt.

No, the Constitution does not say that. The COAS is ALWAYS under the command of the PM. If the PM is corrupt, he is answerable to Parliament and the people and NEVER to the COAS.

that wont be possible until the PM shows atleast a small bit of competence

The PM's performance is judged at elections by the people, and NEVER by the Army. It is not for the COAS to act illegally and think that he is above the law to justify usurping power.

I think it is the duty of all the politicians including the PM to obey the constitution which he has been violating since the protest has began or maybe since early 90s.

Yes, all should obey the Constitution, and all should also be judged by the procedures described in the same document.

That guy can't even formulate an opinion of his own and needs a noora to help him out in a sticky situation. If the PM was ever found to be dependent on someone else when it comes to making decisions, won't it be obvious as to why he needs someone else to give instructions to him?

I don't buy that BULLSHIT that pseudo liberals keep on with, that the military has a hand in the decision making of this country. If they ever did have a degree of influence ever since this democracy started to "flourish" in Pakistan, then we would be at a better state than where we are today.

Your post has no relevance to the fact that the Constitution clearly describes the roles of the PM and the COAS and also establishes how they are to be judged.

They are both human and for all I care I have seen enough of both to decide for myself who is the better man and which one is more competent with the responsibilities assigned to them.
