Gen Bajwa rubbishes Indian army chief's claim of 'so-called surgical strikes' on Pakistan

You should read it carefully; it just reports of a small-scale skirmish in which 1 Pakistani soldier was martyred. We never denied Indian soldiers may have crossed 1 km into Pakistani side; this is actually very common for both forces during skirmishes.

That BBC report contradicts almost everything what Indians claimed and leaned towards our official statements. Let me quote stuff from the report.

Despite the use of the term "surgical strikes", the Indians definitely did not airdrop commandos to hit "launching pads of militants" inside Pakistani-held territory, or conduct ground assaults deep into the Pakistan-administered side. But they did cross the Line of Control (LoC), in some cases by more than a kilometre, to hit nearby Pakistani border posts.

A similar advance by the Indians in the Dudhnial area of Neelum valley further north was beaten back by the Pakistanis. At least one Pakistani soldier was injured - reports of a dead soldier could not be independently verified by the BBC.

Indian troops could not have hit a target and returned alive as the climb required was too steep, officials said. Nor could helicopters have been used to drop special forces given the difficult terrain and because Pakistan would have shot down the aircraft.

Despite the claims in the Indian media, the BBC could find little evidence that militants had been hit.

This highly contradicts Indian claims in which Indian Special Forces were airdropped via helicopters; deep within Pakistani territory - destroying 'terror launch pads', 'killing dozens of militants and Pakistani soldiers' and other baseless claims.

.
then ran back leaving your soldier behind, this is your definition of surgical strikes?
The soldier crossed inadvertently in another sector just like few years back Sepoy Arif Alvi of Pakistan Army was captured by us.
Also the soldier was part of an counter insurgency and nothing to do with surgical strikes by our special forces.

Actually ISPR lied and claimed that Indian troops did not a dry any ground assault and it was just border firing
Also we never claimed to have used helicopters or that we penetrated many kilometres.
Militarily any special firces to pronged offensive attack inside enemy territory is a surgical strike.

Your own senior moderator accepted that 10-12 militants were killed.

Gen. Bajwa is from the same area per last service and Kashmir is his specialty prior to becoming COAS. The Chief has conveyed a message properly to his counterpart that professional understand well.

Indian claim of so-called strike was indeed a surgical strike on NaMO's voters that started to gossip and demanding to fulfill NaMO's promises made during election campaign regarding Pakistan though played it well with people by mass propagating through media where the DM even compared IA with a God so the people will believe rather asking for proofs.

However, the few who asked were ultimately labeled as traitors and even were told to leave India for Pakistan, is another story. Such Indian statements are issued from time to time in ABC contexts for public consumption whenever the ruling party has to hide its failure from public, a good cover story that people will buy due to anti-Pakistan propaganda.

LoC violation is not a surgical strike. Beware of political media warfare.

So basically ...

  • ISPR lied
  • UNMOGIP (UN military observer group in India and Pakistan) lied.
  • The media that was brought by the ISPR to openly observe the claimed sites of the surgical strikes while talking to the locals... They lied as well...
  • So, the only one telling the truth is a side whose story contradicted itself not once, or twice or thrice but as much as SIXTEEN TIMES ? Take a hike ...

and before you go on and harp on about how BBC "confirmed" that you conducted a "surgical strike" .. Here is a quote straight from the very BBC your using as a "proof"..

  1. "reports of a dead soldier (Pakistani) could not be independently verified by the BBC."
  2. "There is no conclusive evidence to prove either side's claims - the truth probably lies somewhere in the middle."

and lastly .. please quote that senior moderator or the post that he posted so that we can look at the evidence instead of second hand information relayed by you (as you've proven ... you're not exactly reliable when it comes to accurately quoting sources... no offense)

-Yes, ISPR lied.
-UNMOGIP never said that surgical strike did not happen. They said they didn't see anything which is obvious since there are only 50 of them and all are posted in MZFRBD/SRNGR.
-ISPR guided tours did not take journo to places where action happened i.e. Dundhial and athmuqam.
-Indian army never gave any details.
Media is free to give any story they please

Whether it was fake or not it has proved one thing for sure that world is least concerned about Pakistan & it's claims. Not a single country voiced against India for contravening your border line..Lel

When Uri attack happened...which u blamed on us...forget about world, your own "best friend" Russia, conducted exercises with Pakistan right after that...Lel

Learn to read

"Indian government said the army's strikes had taught Pakistan a long-awaited lesson - but Islamabad dismissed the reports as an "illusion". The BBC's M Ilyas Khan visited the border area to find out what actually happened"
"
But they did cross the Line of Control (LoC), in some cases by more than a kilometre, to hit nearby Pakistani border posts.

Police officials on the Pakistani side privately concede that such a ground assault did occur in the Madarpur-Titrinot region of Poonch sector, west of Srinagar, where a Pakistani post was destroyed and one soldier killed.
"
Moron such crossing is done by both sides as any Indian who knows a thing or two about the region would tell you the same. But you are too delusional to understand that crossing over a kilometer is not a surgical strike. The same has been pointed out by BBC.
