You`re quite right my friend,the image of israel as this near unbeatable first rate western military power house,capable of punching far outside its weight class,has been effectively destroyed,blown apart,and theres really no fixing that.
This reputation was in fact already looking rather tarnished after its failures in the 2006 war,but thats nothing compared to the last 4 weeks.
On the other hand,the transformation of the palestinian resistance is something incredible to behold.
Ultimately tho`,for the zionists the biggest problem they now face is not the shredding of the myth of their military competence,its the shredding of the delusion that they could impose a military solution to all of the problems of the occupation,that there was no need to negotiate,to make peace,to give up anything.that they could just lock the palestinians up in apartheid style bantustans and the gaza ghetto/concentration camp.
It didnt work out very well in the end.
Zionist israel today is a horrible illustration of what can happen when one starts drinking ones own kool-aid,buying ones own bullsh!t,and becoming a legend in ones own [very deluded] mind.
