Most of IDF 300,000 build up are made up Conscripts tend to be that way weak in any army and not to mention their very young and inexperienced soldiers. It's been over 17yrs since Israels last major conflict, where Hezbollah inflicted major damage to them!!

They are like the 'National Guards' of America. Part time warriors. Hand to hand combat with Hamas, they met their fate on October 7. Previous victories--including even in the war of 1948-- using superior technology and weaponry have given them a little too much confidence.

Having said that, I don't know what Hezbollah is going to do... that's the game changer and the Litmus Test...

Honestly, I am shocked by the Arab/Muslim/Persian responses so far from several countries who are or might get deeply involved. The responses are measured; often plausible deniability. Biding their time. Same with Russia and China--watching carefully.
I would be very very surprised if this latest conflict will end in just Gaza turned into a 'tent city'!

Journalists grill US State Dept of State Spokesperson Matthew Miller over Israeli war crimes

Lots of good questions here by Said Arikat, Max Blumenthal and Sam Husseini about the hypocrisy and immorality of the US government's policy supporting Israeli war crimes in Gaza and specifically calling out that Israel's siege on Gaza (blocking water, food, electricity) is a war crime and the US should tell Israel not to kill civilians.

The longer this goes on, the stronger the criticism will grow and the more pressure the West will have to put on Israel.
