Future of 2 Agosta-70s & 3 Agosta-90Bs in PN?

With the soon arrival of 4 Type-39A (S-20P) will PN going to sell their 2 Agosta-70s & 3 Agosta-90Bs to Burma which seems to be quite interested in these submarines and may be Midget submarines to SriLanka ?

Agosta-90B!!! are you serious they are still in good condition and were recently fitted with AIP. PN is already short of submarines and you are telling now they plan to sell their frontline sub even before they got the new ones? This can't be true.

PN is not going to sell any thing but if anyone interested in 90Bs then new can be made for them as we already had full TOT or if required any new propulsion systems like MESMA those can be sourced from France. Malaysia was interested with A90Bs I don't know what happen to that deal. Now A70 is already upgraded for next decade and may stay for long and complete its tenure and retire and later we may be inducting another Western sub in our fleet but it will take time.

Augusta 90 B are pretty much relatively new Submarine they would remain in service for at least 25 more years.

All 3 of the Agosta-90B subs came in the last 16 years. Retiring such equipment with a life-span of less than 20 years would only be foolish. Pakistan can use both the Agosta-70 as training subs, as it will need it for its plans of expanding its submarine forces.

So, no, I don't think any of the subs will be sold.

the pair of Agosta-70's may be retired from the navy completely where it maybe scrapped or it may go to a naval museum. or it can be retrofitted to train submariners, which is what Malaysia did. they procured an ex french agosta sub and used it for training for the scorpene subs.

the agoata-90 have at least 13 more years ahead of them. and thats for the old agosta-90 the newer sub [pns-hamza] has another 20 years.

the midget subs do need to be replaced as they are very very old.

no Agosta 90 B are modern submarines and we are going to keep them for a long time .. they will not be replaced by chinese one

Do you have a source or are you just making this up all by yourself?
It has been clearly indicated by the PN and GoP that with the increase in territorial waters and PCEC becoming a reality the naval strength will only increase. As per some of the senior members PN needs atleast 12-15 conventional submarines to defend its waters as our neighbors are really pissed with the development of Gwadar. If possible PN is also eyeing on nuclear submarine.
However if you are so sure about this please justify your claim.

90-Bs will be MLUed in future and they will remain in service at least 15 - 20 years more, 70s will be replaced and PN looking for it.
