Why do you think attacking Iranian sites will work? Do you know that unlike Iraq in late 1980's, the Iranian nuclear program isn't only one half-complete reactor? You should attack over 15 targets constructed in different parts of Iran. From South Eastern to North Western and from North Eastern to South Western. This is while many of these targets are several kilometers under ground in bunkers that are deep down in the heart of strongly connected mountains. And we're already assuming that you've air superiority and you've already suppressed all Iranian SAM sites, except AA guns.

You'll need the USA help, that's for sure. Even the US ability to destroy all those targets isn't certain, let alone Israel. And don't forget that the mentality of many Iranians is indifferent toward Israel, but if that happened, the regime would have the support to give a harsh response to Israel that will be like none of those rocket attacks you've seen coming from Hizbullah or Hamas. It'd be much more catastrophic.

Israel only talks. They dont take any action because they know the severe consequences they would face. Iran is definitely not Iraq or Afghanistan.

Moreover, the USA hasn't achieved much in Afghanistan, infact this so called war on terror has destroyed it's economy. Afghanistan had no nuclear weapons or any proper military structure to counter the Americans and still, the results are infront of the world.

According to that, Israel would really chop it's own feet off if they attempt to attack on the well prepared Iran.
