Five of a family gunned down in Karachi’s DHA Phase IV

KARACHI: Bodies of five members of a family, including children, were discovered on Tuesday in a bungalow on 3rd Commercial street of Defense Housing Authority (DHA) Phase IV area in Karachi, DawnNews reported.

All five persons were shot to death and the single weapon used in the killings was also found on the spot.

Police officials suspected that the head of the family, who was the owner of Sanghar sugar mills, might have committed suicide after killing his family as the doors of the house were locked from inside.

i don't get it...defence is a porsche area..so poverty is not the reason behind these killings by head of the house...so what could be the reason behind this?

When you have to much money and you throw the religion out of your life and there is no difference between good and bad then these type of incidents occur in society.

may be or there are some other social issues don't know jaisa Urdu mai kahtai hai kabar ka haal murda hi janai.

I have heard stories of such type before, some men and women kill their children, and/or spouse and then kill themselves.

Or sometimes they just kill their children...

exactly...i have heard too.... a lot stories...but main reason was always poverty...faqa kashi etc...
never thought to find this news in defence area

i can't believe this people have weird and strange reasons to kill...
once I read the same news a/c to which parents use to kill their offsprings because they were casting black magic and they were commanded by their master etc

similar story with different reason---poverty

but here what could be the reason...this shakes my mind...

Very sad .. may they rest in peace, there has been a few cases where its either a robbery attempt by an insider (relative- servants) or honor killings by one of the residents or a resident is suffering from mental imabalance

Father kills son


Chakwal : A minor son was killed by his father due to poisonous drink. Abdul Khaliq told the city police Chakwal that his daughter Assia Batool was married with M. Tanveer some 6 years ago and a son M. Rehan was born and now his daughter got divorce from M. Tanveer and after the divorce another child M. Rohan was born.

The husband M. Tanveer filed a petition before the family court for the custody of minor children and on the order of the family court both the minor were brought at the court and the father M. Tanveer after meeting with his children gave them some eatable and drinks.

The elder M. Rehan refused to take however minor Rohan took the drink and when Rohan came back to home his condition became serious and he was immediately shifted to DHQ Hospital Chakwal but he died due to poisonous drink.

The father Taveer used to give threatening calls that if court did not handed over his children to him he would do any thing. Sub inspector M. Aslam after having autopsy of M. Rohan registered a murder case against Tanveer and started searching him.

RAWALPINDI -- A father gunned down his son in the area of Wah cantt here the other day. As per reports, in the area of Wah cantt at Bodha Chaudhry Aksar and his young son Chaudhry Waqas got into a fight over some domestic dispute due to which the father opened fire with gun on the son resultantly he died on the spot.

The criminal father fled away from the scene successfully. On getting information police reached on the spot and shifted the dead body to hospital for autopsy. After completing legal formalities it was handed over the dead body to his heirs. Later on, police registered the case and started thorough investigation.

The reason could be bhaata, ransom money

These cruel people kill shopkeepers/traders without mercy if you don't give them the required amount.
