I have noticed one strange thing that women in punjab are named after islamic women figures like Aisha, Fatima, Amna, Hifsa, Aasia, kausar, kulsoom, Rabia, maryam etc. but in KPK they seem to have mostly non-islmic names like Gulalai, farishta, gul makai, shandana, zartaj etc. even though they are supposed to be more "religious" than us in punjab.

these are people from the 7th tribe, Although they have been mixed with local people but you can tell them apart by their fasadi actions, this is what they did throughout the history where ever they are.

Yes, I know most people will stand for their own short term self interest rather than the truth as that seems an easier option but ultimately costly in the long run.

I am a pukhtun. There are 35 M pukhtuns in pakistan. Plenty times more than in Afghanistan.

How does she or the pashteen character represent all of us? How can a small portion of people from mehsud/wazir/dawar tribe represent all the remaining tribes. This movement should not be called pushtoon tahafuz movement because it does not represent the issues of the pukhtun society as a whole. A couple of thousand people backed by afghan refugees do not represent the 35 M population.

PTM is inciting violence. There are plenty of videos floating around for it. Gulalai's latest rant is enough proof that they want to spread anarchy.

However, his pushtun tahafuzi dies there. Why doesn't he speak against the atrocities on AFG pukhtuns being done by ANSF and US forces and their hirelings. Because PTM is living on their handouts.

Pakistan was created as a homeland of muslims of south asia.

Present pukhtuns of KPK chose Pakistan at the time of independence because they believed in the idea of being muslims first and a member of pukhtun tribe later.

Present Pakistani pukhtuns are as different from the afghan pukhtuns as the taiwanese are from mainland chinese. 70+ years have passed since independence.

There will be no larobar unity. The borders have been defined and afghan pushtuns and their afghan qaumiyat PTM supporter can sulk because we are not going to join AFG any time soon.

Rather afghans are free to decide amongst themselves to add their territory to present Pakistani geographical borders.

ISLAMABAD – A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM) activist Gulalai Ismail for making an anti-state speech.

According to media reports, the case was registered in the jurisdiction of Islamabad’s Shahzad Town Police Station which also included Section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act 1999 (ATA).

My father and amost entire family is from army and i am saying this that army should not be above law or criticism but there is right way or platform to deal with your issues..abusing your institution and doing politics on suffering of some people will serve no purpose
