[Fight For Future] Su-35S vs F-15X

. .
No only few, Composite materials, RAM doesn't counts as airframe changes, radome reamins same as Su-27M if you look closely intakes, brakes and wheels count as minor or internal design changes @undertakerwwefan

Sure it does. Airframe is as much material as it is shape. BTW, F-15X has no future, so not sure about title of this thread.

. . . .
No Chanes @undertakerwwefan :disagree:

Composite material in F-15X does reduce RCS a lot @blackuday :agree:

in @undertakerwwefan views only @Theparadox  @undertakerwwefan just trolling here without any base @Theparadox

It also did not help the F-15 reduce the RCS equivalent to the F-16C (~1m2)
F-15C has RCS = 20m2, Su-35 has RCS = 1-3m2

Yes Complementary but at the time of introduction of Su-57, Su-35 will not stand against evolving SAMs and radars threats @undertakerwwefan Su-35 era is getting over by the time @undertakerwwefan

you've forgotten the ECM

With ECM it will become useless jet in 2025 @blackuday

wow what a logic you have, bigger plane like Su-35 can reduce its RCS to F-16 level but smaller plane like F-15 can't reduce its RCS to F-16 level, keep blabbering without a base @blackuday :blah::blah::blah::hitwall::hitwall::hitwall::crazy::crazy::crazy:

From what I can find, no proposal for RCS reduction like on F-15SE.

“Dubbed the F-15X, the new variant of the venerable jet offers more modern flight controls, cockpit displays, and radar,” Weisgerber wrote, citing military and industry sources. He added that it would also pack more firepower, including two dozen air-to-air missiles.

F-15X is in early part in its proposa, lF selected by USAF may be its uses composite material/ RAM @undertakerwwefan

F-15X is a proposed low cost, low risk upgrade. It don't incorporate composites, airframe structural changes, internal weapons bay. It's supposed to be mainly used for anti terrorism. It's essentially single single version of F-15 advanced. Nevertheless, the air force wants 5th gen like F-35, not more souped up legacy designs.

The Air Force wanted a plane that was “cost-effective both in terms of operation and acquisition, very low-risk, and most of all, it would need to be non-disruptive to the larger F-35 procurement initiative.” This would complement rather than help replace some of the F-35s.

The purpose, according to Rogoways’ sources, was to provide a better high-low capability combination. That is, a recognition that not all missions will require stealthy fifth-generation aircraft like the F-22 and F-35. Cheaper fourth-generation aircraft like a new designed F-15 would be better for carrying out a host of different missions, such as dealing with terrorist and militant groups.

Su-35S on the other hand had been a major upgrade of Su-27, with structural changes to the radome, brakes, intakes, nozzles, application of composites and RAM to the airframe.

SU-35s are 1m2 to 3m2

"With ECM it will become useless jet in 2025" and EA-18G will be together F-35 to 2030

And the F-35I will also be equipped with ECM
