Fakhri Pasha "The Defender of Madina"

That is not entirely correct only the later Mughal emperors were entirely native Indian, when the Mughals first came they used Turkish for their military and Persian for administration while local languages to communicate with the masses.

You cannot give up your blood just by adopting another culture even if Babur was persianized he was still a Turk. Besides Mongols and Turks are the same stock overall just like Arabs and Jews.
Blood is just a dna code and numbers nothing else , it is the culture , lifestyle and belief system , philosophy etc that makes up the shape of an Ethnic populace.

Well, well what have we got here.

Crescent - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Akkadians were Semites obviously. So that claim is also out of the world.

@KingMamba

Wrong. They were originally Mongols.

Barlas - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The founder belonged to the Barlas Tribe. A Mongol tribe.

Semitic people are one. Besides there were ancient Semitic civilizations in Yemen, KSA (already mentioned them) and not only Iraq and Egypt. Back then the people were more or less one.

While they are claiming Mongol achievements. That would be like me claiming contemporary Jewish achievements. Mongols are not Turkic people.

@Kaan

Wrong. There is NOTHING called Altaic people.Besides the biggest empire in history was the British Empire.

The Mongols were short-lived and ruled mostly empty land (Siberia, Central Asian Steppes). They left nothing. Known worldwide as nothing more than barbarians.
But again they were not even Turks.

Mongols dragged your Arab caliph out and trampled him to death. I would say that's quit an achievement.

Afghan may be taken as a synonym with Pakhtuns at times as well so be careful with the term as you might provoke hostility from Pakistani Pakhtuns :D
I bear no real love for Afghanistan except our shared ethnicity and history but that is it and most of us over here are like that Pakistanis to the death!!

For me Afghan = Afghanistani !

Pakistani Pukhtoon = Family ! :kiss3:

But @Khan_patriot doesn't like us Kashmiris after several of his past girlfriends fell for Kashmiri Dudes ! :smokin:

No. Turkic people and Mongol people are not the same. Arabs and Jews are both Semitic people. Mongols are not Turkic people. They are Mongolic people.

Mongols are not Turks nor Turkic people. Besides Mongols were crushed ultimately and they are now totally irrelevant and known worldwide as nothing more than a bunch of small barbarians. Mongol is now seen by many as a swearword or synonym for barbarianism.

Baburnama must have been written in Persian right? Babur himself said he was Turk that is what matters, he married a descendent of Genghis Khan so his children could claim Genghis even that is attested too.

Later on the Mughal emperors considered themselves Indian and not Persian or Turkish but originally they considered themselves Turkish.

Waisee on a serious note - I'm not fond of Afghans because the few that I've met severely dislike Pakistan & Pakistanis ! :pissed:

They even claim their borders up till Jhelum & the Durand Line null & void ! :mad:

Hamaraa khateiii haiiin aur humeiiin ko galiii nikalteiii haiiin - Kaiseee Musalmaan Bhai hain hamareiii ? :(

Most of my Pukhtoon friends & family members really dislike Afghans a lot including Afghan Pukhtoons ! :unsure:

Especially my friends from the Tribal Areas - They've got some very fiery things to say about Afghans ! :o:

Assuming Afghans to mean the people of Afghanistan and not all Pukhtoons, I agree with you that most of them are anti-Pakistan, here in Pakistan they are involved in all kind of illicit things, they are parasitic to Pakistan and yes I agree that some of them have an innate desire to claim all the land in which Ethnic Pukhtoons reside to be Afghanistan, it is because of them that all Pukhtoons are being seen in a bad light, it is said that there was no (or negligable ) Pukhtoon beggar anywhere untill the Afghan refugees came during the Soviet invasion and it was perpetuated later after the US invasion and it hurts my heart to see some Pukhtoon beggars, they have forsaken their pride, possibly due to necessity but they have forsaken it none the less.....:(

Correction only Babur did not so sure about humayun but from Akbar on that connection was severed

@al-Hasani
Proposed is the key word here. Besides it is just a language. No genetic relations at all. Nor will you even understand a thing of Japanese or Korean. Japanese and Korean culture has nothing to do with Turkic culture, LOL.

Your not that smart than you might think you are.

Yeah but it still shows that these people have most probably the same ancestors.

Do you understand Hebrew?

Hebrew is very close to Arabic. It is a fellow Semitic language. I understand 25% of it without even attempting to learn it. Same with Assyrian. On the other hand you will not understand a single word of Korean or Japanese outside of maybe 4-5 words. Nor are they even Turkic people, related to you genetically or even share the same culture. It's all nonsense. And if anything it is just some ancient linguistic connection that is not even proven and controversial.

Anyway if attaching yourself to people that you have nothing to do with (Koreans and Japanese) is going to make you feel better then so be it.

Mongols and Turks are similar people not same but share common ancestors. You are trying to compare Turkic people of Turkey with mongols. The Turks are a mixture of Eurasians. They have been mixed too much. I suggest you go to countries like Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan to see how similar Turkic people to Mongols.

.
@Al-hasni mate they do have turkic blood they were descendants of Temur(turkic) who claimed descent from changez khan.

Earlier in this thread you said Turkic and Mongols were cousins but now when I agree with you you tell me it is just proposed that is a double standard on your part.
