F-35 FOR PAF ? yes this can happen.

in early 80s pakistan got a chance to buy the most advance fighter of that time f-16 b/c of envolment of Pakistan in an American war against russia.USA wasnt willing to make such a deal but inforced by conditions.
Pakistan and USA are again in such kind of condition,where USA depends on PAKISTAN.
F35 is an advance next generation fighter of today like f16 of that time.PAF can get this things if PAKISTANI govt put some havy weight pressure on USA for DRONES and F35.

RAFALE-cost more then 80million.
EF-2000-cost 124 million.

but if we take look at F35s cost is estimated 70-77 million,isnt it worth to have a next gen fighter in 70 million while eurpion 4+ figter are beyond our range.

yaar seriously if our politicians had the courage we could Black Mail America saying that our cooperation in WOT depends upon the F-35.

Yar even our Army can extract F-35 .They say go do operation in waziristan.We could say give us F-35 and we will perform the operation.(In reality however we could just perform a just a dusting operation nothing serious).

thats why israeal have selected f35 rather then f22 cuz it is a low cost fifht generation fighter as compared to f22.

There is a long line of customers for the F-35, Pakistan is not one of them. Moreover, countries that participated in the development of the F-35 arn't going to let Pakistan have the F-35, atleast not before they get it.

It is a rubbish thread it should be closed.

We would never ever buy F-35 even if we could , for now we can't even think of it honestly and secondly we do not " Need " it.

F-35 is going to be a success or a failure , time will decide but as yet the simulation tests prove a higher kill to loss ratio against Russian and Chinese
jets.

Royal Australian Air force has published about a year ago that F-35 cant turn , cant run , cant escape from its competitors in the war.

F-35 is not a fully stealth air craft but it maybe classified as " Semi stealth" .

Pakistan's defenses in this tough economical times must depend on our Nuclear weapons and delivery systems.
I am waiting for Taimur test more than anything else because it will give Pakistan a greater range of 7000kms with a mind-bending speed of delivery of warheads to the enemies. IMO If we cant afford to have these fancy jets at this time means we would not be able to put up a fight in conventional warfare so we would ultimately have to use our Nuclear weapons against ANY aggressor.

Our main goal is to maintain our defenses against Indians and i think Vipers , JF-17 Thunders and FC-20's can knock their Air force down if they came to Attack.

Then Another 10 years before they begin work on another generation fighter and only then will they start exporting to countries like Pakistan for F-35.

Pakistan will always be one generation behind Western Fighters.

Our only option is to build our own fighters.

We have the brains to do it.
