If India really admits the F-16 as a matchless fighter and afraid of it while Pakistan is increasing the numbers of F-16 then why they rejected F-16IN with made in India opportunity in MMRCA....????

Please do not forget that it was the same airframe that formed the backbone of Pakistan's nuclear deep strike capability with live weapons on its modified racks. Further, these aircraft will remain a formidable defense force for Pakistan to repel any intruders.

Firstly IAF's initial requirement was for a twin engine jet....secondly even Turkey is building the F-16s, doesn't mean America has transferred all the sensitive technology to them neither was US giving it to India.....remember the transport and maritime aircraft supplied to India by US, didn't include all the gadgets like the electronic suite in them.

PAF in Kargil? Sir as far as i know PAF never sprang into action during Kargil as it was a venture which was planned and executed exclusively by Mushi n Co. Even the IAF's planes were downed by PA personnel. PAF was at the back end protecting own airspace only. Also if it had actually happened then anyone including Mushi were mad to still go for F-16s.

One could also argue that if PAF wasn't up there then how the Indians are boasting about gaining a lock on our F-16s, for which they went as far as rewarding their Fulcrum pilot, however PAF doesn't need need to publicise such minor incidents for self esteem for there was at least one case where a pair of Falcons tailed a flight of five MiG-29s for about 20 minutes before they were warned by their own GCI....causing them to jinx wildly that they almost crashed into each other.

If this is true, Kaisar Tufail must have had mentioned that in his kargil account besides the incident of Mig locking onto F-16. Since he didnt which means whoever told you this, is a fantasy which may have not occurred at all.

y did u not use f16 against india during kargil.that time indian airforce did not even have capability to operate in the night.

Do some research as F16s were actively used for defensive purposes and border patrols. As a matter of fact F16s locked on to Indian fighter jets several times near punjab and kashmir regions. Kargil is a not theatre of fighter as adverse conditions restrict the operational capability of any fighter jet. Hence the use of helos.

In the words of Kaiser Tufail "fighter jets crossing LoC and bombing is hell lot different than lobbing artillery shells across. Something Army generals fail to understand repeatedly". That would have started full scale war. Something we were not very keen on in the middle of sanctions.
