I think this self-immolation business has also been romanticized. I think she didn't know how much burning herself up would suck. Once the burning started, her voice said it all.

Didn't you ready m comment. She drenched that shawl with petrol But due to fumes, the fire traveled back to bottle she was holding.

As clothes burn, they get stuck with skin depending on cloth type.

You don't have logic when you are burning like that. Rationality goes out, survival instinct kicks in.

First Video. She poured petrol on herself. She is angry that's why she went on Water Tank at first place.
She is drenched in petrol.

She gives shawl to her friend and pour petrol on it. Her friend lights the fire on Shawl but due to petrol fumes that had between the bottle and sawl, it traveled to the bottle.

Now she was already drenched in petrol, as shown in first video. She got lit up. And then she ran.

She didn't want to burn herself.

As for other women, they were in state of shock.

Many people who see truck just going to hit them, can't even move to save themselves as they go into shock.

The term self immolation is misleading to begin with. Immolation actually refers to sacrificial killing. The proper term for this act is self incineration. Whoever that women is, she must have reach a crises point where she feels isolated and hopeless.

There were 4 crazy women on the tower....two were pouring fuel on themselves and the other two made no attempt of stopping them...
The other two should have been hailed,and so should the organizers of this type if lunatic protest...

Yes your analysis is true and this type of self immolations should not be romanticized. They went up but were little confused during the protest and it was an accident not a deliberate attempt to self immolate.
