Myanmar order is under the belt and now let's hope we can get the Sri Lanka order soon .

. . .
maybe Pakistan will have better luck with JF17 Blk 3

The target market is developing countries. Block 2 is very competitive in that domain. Don't really see what else we can add without increasing costs significantly.

And what is wrong with 35 million dollars when you have the same capability as the Grippen NG---actually a better overall weapons package than Grippen NG

regarding the export

the price i said is cheaper then grippen it is more expensive gripen

blk3 will the best ppl maybe not agree with me but i want to see jf17 blk3 to be in BAF even

Hi,

Most asian and African customers will be satisfied with BLK2---because it would meet all their demands and needs.

In that range other options such as Scorpion and LCA would come in. Blk 2 is well balanced for export market at about 18 mil

.
not sure about LCA still expiremental
the scorpion is 20 mill only
but scorpion and jf17 are different

JF-17 finds buyer at Dubai show: report
REUTERS — UPDATED ABOUT 2 HOURS AGO

BEIJING: The JF-17 fighter, jointly developed by China and Pakistan, notched its first sale at the Dubai Air Show and may receive additional orders in the future, the China Daily said on Wednesday, citing a Chinese executive.

Aviation Industry Corp of China (Avic) and Pakistan Aeronautical Complex closed the deal with an unidentified buyer at the air show, the newspaper said, citing an Avic statement. It did not say when the contract was signed or how many jets were sold.

“Several potential buyers have expressed to us their strong intention of introducing the aircraft,” Liu Yu, deputy head of Avic’s military aircraft sales division, was quoted as saying.

China’s weapons exports jumped 143 per cent in the five years to 2014 compared to the previous five-year period, but still only account for about 5pc of the global arms market.
