I really doubt you were any better than any ME country, I mean, look at Turkish members here, most of them live outside Turkey. Why?

Why?
Because most were born and raised in Europe,so it was not a choise for this generation(third and fourth generation so about 50 years).
Our parents came from the 60s on as foreighn workers,most stayed here and started a future.
If you talk about the 60s,70s,80s,you could have a point.
You should stop using the Turks living in Europe as an excuse.

It is a study comparing Arab states within themselves, Turkey is only meantioned 7 times, in one of which it says:

Man I didn't want to go through this but I was asked for it. However, I specifically said that some ME countries including Jordan were better than Turkey in education, health care and had less corruption and illiteracy, plz, review my previous post.

Dozens of other things such as human rights, political system, infrastructure, economic complexity etc... must have been taken into account while making such a claim instead of hand picking BS like corruption rate and technology assimilation.

As for the education, as i quoted from your own source, 22 Arab countries published 14.000 scientific articles between 1998-2007 while Turkey alone published 9,800.

Bro, He has a point. We are better than the most of the ME countries in terms of GDP, Exports, Military Strength.

But we are not very good in terms of GDP per capita, health care, education etc... You have to look this issue on citizen level. How one citizen benefits from health care, education etc...

We are progressing at a phenomenal rate, outshadowing almost all the EU and ME countries but not very good at the moment.
