you are missing the point. Its not just america, its the entire western system that makes it powerful. America doesnt just print the dollar it has created a system where dollar reigns supreme.

China on the other hand hardly has any big allies other than russia, as such china can only hoard the dollar it cannot create a system where yuan becomes powerful.

Current western economic system (& its institutions including UN) comprising of US & europe is a powerful entity. China cannot rival it unless most of the asia and other countries join it.
Being wealthy alone is not enough it should build a system where it can reign supreme.


British created a empire, imposed their language , created a bloody system where they could reign supreme. Soviets nearly did the same.

No I am not. Your placing the cart before the horse. Britain did all that and built a web. USA did that and built a web. Both placed themselves in the centre to reign supreme.

But before they could do that they built up themelves to have the economic and military muscle. China is in process of building the muscle. Then horse will pull the cart. China will build all that and build a web. and client states will begin to gather around it because they will smell benefits.

Watch how countries start jumping on the china bandwagon driven by self interest. The Chinese are shrewd. They know money talks bullshat walks. Do you see Pakistan moving away from USA into the Chinese orbit more then ever before. I can assure you it's not because CCP offers take away called "athiesm" or the way it treats the Uighur Muslims.

$60 billion investment under CPEC does the trick. This is what you will see increasingingly.

First of all China isn't aiming to rival any country CULTURALLY. Each country has its own culture, what's there to rival with American Culture? Secondly that Hindu seems to lack knowledge of which countries eating dogs. Guess South Korea and Switzerland also belong to the category of "BACKWARD" country.

Sometimes i have to wonder are there no limits to stupidity from these Hindus? Culture does not define the terminology of a super power. Is Japan a super power because globally kids watch anime, play Mario, Pokemon or Sushi can be eaten everywhere? Are France, UK, Italy super powers because Western style cuisine can be found in every corner of this planet? WTF does eating dog meat have to do whether China is a rising power or not? The Japs are condemned everywhere for killing dolphins and whales yet Japan keeps on doing it.

The end of status the US enjoys has been started. It already look down upon not by others also by Europeans as well. Hypocrisy can't stand too much...They are going into isolation mood. They are angry and frustrated. They are internally divided...They are facing resistance from rival powers and people around the world...

I have nothing against common Americans but I really despise their government, the blood they have shed around the globe.

Nah. The US is still by far the preeminent power in economics, military, and cultural power.

The closest aspect of getting surpassed is the economic realm by China. If even mighty China today still needs around 10 years of rapid growth to surpass the US in nominal GDP, it just speaks volume of the relative economic size of the US compared to other countries. And the US will still have a much higher GDP per capita even if she gets surpassed in total GDP, which means the ability to absorb talent from all over the world.

Militarily, it will take China many more decades to reach military parity with the US.

Cultural influence, I don't think any country will be able to surpass the US in our lifetime. One huge advantage for the US here is the English language, which is the de facto lingua franca of the world currently. It allows American culture to seep through other cultures surreptitiously through movies, songs etc.


China will continue to rise, but the US will still be the sole superpower at least for the next 2 decades. This has nothing to do with Trump or whatever; these are big trends which no single person can change.
