I am more than happy about BJP's win in Assam. This was much needed as the illegal immigration problem might addressed this time around. The only reason why he left congress was because he realized that he was not going to be a certain candidate for CM after Gogoi as junior Gogoi entered politics. He will now slowly build up his claim for the next term in BJP. Watch him blackmail BJP if he doesn't get it. But he was a major loss for Congress and it perhaps changed the result considerably. He is popular because he knows how much he should give his people to keep them satisfied and how much he should keep for himself, he knows that balance. But people don't really have any alternative. Sonowal is a much better person though so I am happy that he is in charge, at least for now.

Its victory in Assam is truly EPIC. It managed to get a decent share of the Assamese muslim votes too. Truly breath taking and Inspiring.

The Bangladeshi muslim votes went to Congress and AIUDF.


BJP Vote share in Kerala increased to 15%. Impressive gains in Bengal and Tamil Nadu.
