BJP MP Dr. Jitendra Singh defeated Ghulam Nabi Azad. He represents the Udhampur constitutency which consists of several muslim majority areas like Doda, Kishtwar, Banihal, Bhadarwah, Gool, etc.. It's safe to say that many muslims have voted for him.
