It is weird for Turkey and Iran. Turkey was 6 and Iran was 12 one year ago and now they are far worse.

I actually think it's more accurate than their previous list, apart from a few countries, they got it spot on in my opinion...

I think Germany, South Korea, Italy, Indonesia, Egypt should be lower, while Japan, Israel, Iran, Pakistan, Turkey should be slightly higher.

South Korea and Italy both have strong navies. Italy has 2 aircraft carriers but surprisingly has a not very strong airforce, same as South Korea. I was surprised Italy only had 6 submarines while Türkiye has 14.

Opposite this Israel has a very small navy and a very strong airforce with more than 300 F-16 and 80 F-15.

In between these is Türkiye which has a strong navy with 17 frigates, 7 corvettes, 14 submarines and soon a destroyer and a LHD to improve amphibious warfare. Air Force of 240 F-16 and 50 F-4.

I would make a ranking as

USA

Russia/China

India/Japan

France/UK

Türkiye/İtalya/South Korea/Israel/Germany / Saudi Arabia

Pakistan/Egypt/Iran/Australia /Canada

After brackets they are not in order just similar rankings. Germany could be higher looking at their industry and production but on current armed forces.

I don't know about air defence but they have impressive land forces of large number of tanks etc.

I think they need some working on their navy though. Global fire power is a joke let's leave that aside. Japan is 4th or 5th with 30 destroyers, 4 helicopter carriers good airforce like 16 submarines.

Türkiye should be above most with a good navy and good airforce consisting of 14 type 209 submarines, more than many countries above. 17 frigates, 7 corvettes etc. Last year Türkiye was 6th which was wrong again.

Japan is way way underrated.
