Egypt - HAL offers to set up LCA and LCH manufacturing.

iam suprised the Jf-17 was rejected for whatever reason. Mustve been a very bad deal for the tejas to take superiorty over it
That's some tall claim. You need to provide verified source for jf-17 being rejected.

Never heard of the negotiations with Egypt for the JF-17? No Agreement was signed and was probably rejected wether for the deal itself or the preformance of the plane isnt in the place where the classfication pakistan advertises it as. Iam pretty sure you can find a thread here for it

There have been many countries negotiating with US for F-15, F-18, F-16, which fell out later. Same with France, Sweden, Germany. Only a dumb person will conclude that it means the plane for not up to mark. You must have heard of "aviation industry" 24 hours ago it seems.

Therefore, If you don't have a verifiable claim, then please refrain from spreading lies. Thank you.

Like I said Egypt was interested in JF-17 Thunder for years and waited to see the block 3 performance. But somehow it got "refused"

for you to compare American aircraft deals to The JF-17 is honestly unfair
As America is the one that rejects giving Aircraft according to its Foreign policy
Pakistan is in the need for money and marketing of its defense industry for it to succeed and Selling its JF-17 for one of the most renowned Airforces in the world would be the marketing Pakistan needs and you can ask Dassault why did their Rafale sales blew up suddenly. And there was JF-17 negotiations which ended up in failure
Now you can go to five conclusions
1. Pakistan lost to Foreign pressure from the west to preventing ToT of the aircraft
2. the version of the JF-17 that was advertised to Egypt was underwhelming and poor
3. China blocked the sale by preventing the use of Chinese ammunition to sell its J-10 instead or
provided underwhelming downgraded ammunition.
4. Pakistan and china overpriced the deal
5. % of ToT was lower than Egyptian demands
You can beleive whatever you like

Indians get the memo
China and pakistan dont seem to get it lets see what happens with india

You won't need to cook up these delusional clarifications if you had an evidence of your assumptive claims. That's what i believe.

Good for you then.

In the end the JF-17 failed to market itself
It would be an excellent advanced training aircraft Not the role its been put in and priced at

Report: BrahMos missile also offered to Egypt by India.

Egyptian Navy interested in Indian naval ship designs

Was it the same missile that launched by accident in to Pakistan ?

Lol

It is a light fighter, second line after the Pakistani F-16s.. the price was good at $ 24 million for the Block 2.. the Block 3 has an AESA radar and much better avionics, so maybe $30-35 million.. the ammunition it can carry is very diverse..from Chinese long range A2A missiles to Pakistani made cruise missiles..it is a Chinese-Pakistani co-production..so both have their say.. it would have been a good deal too.. if the ToT was satisfactory.. Almost all Arab countries were interested in it, including KSA..

Egypt a goofball military?
Egyptians are one few militaries out there who gave Israel a hard time in the Yom Kippur war
Initial deception Egyptians pulled off on the Israelis prior to Operation Badr was impressive

Just 2 years prior to Yom Kippur war your nation's valorous military performance is celebrated in this picture's background

Egypt should ask for life and family insurance cover also.
There is 100% guarantee of crashes with these population controlling machines.
Are you implying that jf17 don't crash?

Everything crashes but nothing crashes like Indian planes e.g. Dhruv. 100% crash rate. lol.

Why are you whining about it then. It's not your problem. Buy F.35 then. Oh but you can't afford it , nor will get permissions. Or may be china does not want to provide Egypt its BVR missiles like US. Egypt still flies F-16s without BVR missiles, remember.

There are 332 Dhruv built by HAL in operation since 2002 to present. Total 16 crashed.

"Out of 16 accidents, 12 occurred due to human error and environmental factors and the remaining four occurred due to technical reasons,” Minister of State for Defence Rao Inderjit Singh said in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha".

All exported to Ecuador crashed, contract canceled, and was blamed on human error (why not). Must be truck drivers flying them.
