DRDO may field Indigenous 155-mm gun for the Indian Army by end of 2013

.
Army is becoming a joke day by day......if DRDO doesnt deliver a contemporary system by 2013, then it will become a joke too.

Dude you cant blame the DRDO....you have able folks who work their off but you have army brass who don;t have a clue about cooperation like the navy.....they are not involved in projects...quite simply they setting up the DRDO for failure..WHY? Because when domestic industry fails, then the gov't will open procurement to foreign vendors which will put money not just into some army brass but gov't officials. This is what needs to be watched closely...and for the corruption, don;t slap their wrist and let them be. You have to punish very harshly in order to prevent others from going that route.

India will go for the M777 deal...you need equipment now to train and to see what is available.......from there the development should be further progressed.
